Lovely and recently renovated apartment in Amelia historical center: one bedroom, bathroom, big living room with sofa-bed, kitchen and stone fireplace, located in a strategic position close to Assisi, Orvieto, Perugia, 1 hour to Rome (car / train).

The space
The apartment is located in the ancient Amelia historical center at the 2nd floor of a 3 floors building. The apartment have been just completely restored and the furniture is completely new. Highest standard have been kept preserving the local atmosphere, materials and colors, using quality materials such as terracotta floor, stone fireplace, solid wood doors and marble and mosaic decor in the bathroom. All windows are double glazed type. Heating is programmable and will be activated, depending on the period, before your arrival. Comfort is guaranteed during your stay.
The bedroom offers one double bed while in the living room a sofa bed can host other 2 people. Infant cot is available.

Being the house inside the Roman wall of the old town you have just to walk around outside to breathe the atmosphere of the ancient city.
All the attractions are a few steps from the house: Porta Romana, Farrattini Palace, Petrignani Palace, the fourteenth century St. Augustin’s Church, the Loggia of the Auctioneer, the civic Tower and the adjacent Santa Fermina cathedral, the Archaeological Museum, the Art Gallery Edilberto Rosa, the Roman Cisterns and the underground Amelia.
Just 4 km from Amelia there is the Convent of SS. Annunziata.

Few steps from the house there are local handcraft shops and antique shops but also a pharmacy, a laundry, a grocery and superb restaurants of local food. Just outside the city wall there is a supermarket.
