House Rules

Children are entirely under their parents' responsibility.

A blue ashtray outside by the bench on the balcony awaits the ashes of the smokers among our guests. It is totally forbidden to smoke cigarettes or anything else inside all the buildings of the resort.

Just ask us if you want another bottle of wine of the Domaine (17.-/bottle). Coffee and tea from the "coffee corner" in your flat are included in the price of the room.

There is no such thing as an additional bed (except for babies or children under 9 years old - who can sleep in their parents' bed). The flats are made for 4 people. If there are more than 4 guests, then you may ask for a second flat.

If the kitchen has been used, that means the stove, the oven and the fridge, those devices have to be cleaned up by the guests before they leave. The dishes with which the guests have eaten or drunk have to be washed up AND put back at their original place by the guests before they leave.

Except for the kitchen, the cleaning of the rest of the flat will be done by the hosts. No additional fee for that.

Pets, and in particular dogs, are not allowed on the property.

At the end of August, this airbnb is a dream! The view is ridiculously amazing and the wine is just what the doctor ordered. We did not meet Ann but she was very communicative and made sure we had everything we needed. Check in was super easy. If you don't get to stay here, make sure to find a way to visit the winery!

Anne's place is an absolute gem! It's located about 7-10 drive from Vevey (~ 20-25 CHF in taxi if you do not have a car). St-Saphorin rail station is 10 min downhill walk and can connect you to anywhere along the lake (difficult uphill walk with luggage so suggest getting off at Vevey initially). St-Saphorin also has some cute restaurants. The house is beautiful and surrounded by grapevines. There is also a beautiful garden and terrace with STUNNING VIEWS where you can sit and have a glass of wine made at the vineyard. Rooms are large and bright. There is great breeze from the lake. Anne was fantastic and communicated great prior to our arrival. Would recommend getting the breakfast on the terrace for CHF 16/person. Would highly recommend this to anyone visiting the area!!!

This is a rare gem, the opportunity to stay at a place such as this. Our family of four (two kids 11 and 14) stayed for three nights. We were quickly welcomed by Anne and were immediately taken in by the hospitality and the stunning views of the vineyards and Lake Geneva. Anne is a magnificent host, very responsive and went out of her way to make us feel welcomed and at home. The property and surrounding vineyards are beautiful and the entire family enjoyed being here and walking the terraced fields. The small village of St. Saphorin is a 5 minute walk as are the local trains. The surrounding area offers days of adventure and is truly a beautiful place. The apartment we stayed in is small and a bit of an unusual shape. The building appears to be quite old on the exterior, but not in any negative way to the experience. The interior is small and somewhat of an odd configuration as a long hallway is the main corridor in the apartment, with two bedrooms on one end and a small but fully equipped kitchen and bath on the other end. This did not in any way detract from our experience, just something to be aware of. In all this was the families favorite stay of our trip and we all highly recommend. Enjoy!

Stunning view over the vineyards and lake. The apartment is conveniently located. We drove a car, but there is a train station nearby so public transportation is possible. The rooms are spacious with comfortable beds. You can see the snow mountains, the lake and the vineyards from the windows in the living room and the bedroom. Bathroom is new with strong hot water. Kitchen is not in the room but downstairs behind the reception hall - it is very well equipped. Anne let us cook our dinner there. We had to clean it up after dinner, and we were very happy to do so. The only thing is that the second bedroom doesn't have curtains - not a big problem for us as we get up early. You may want to check with Anne if you plan to sleep in late. It's a pity we only stayed one night. We would like to come back in future so we can explore the area further. Highly recommended!

We had some problems finding the apartment and the narrow entrance to the Castle was a bit challenging for us. On arrival, did not know which room was assigned to us. On further inspection and on contacting Anne, noticed the message that was addressed to us. The access to the apartment was not too friendly to senior folks. We could not carry our luggage up the series of narrow stairs to the apartment.

We are traveling around Switzerland and Austria for a month and were most exited about this accommodation because of the raving reviews and the amazing view. Unfortunately for the 2 nights we were there, we were disappointed. We were staying in the 2-bedroom apartment that looks onto the main building. As it rained the whole time we were there, there wasn't an area for us to sit and enjoy an unblocked view. The apartment rooms are spacious and light, but the kitchen, common room and bathroom were darker than we expected. We had breakfast the first morning (common Swiss breakfast of yogurt, fruits, cheese, cold meats, boiled eggs, breads, fruit juice and tea/coffee. Anne wasn't able to be there during our stay and I'm sure had she been there we might have felt differently as the reviews speak highly of her. The complimentary wine was delicious and we ended up buying another bottle. I would recommend staying in the actual bed and breakfast in the main house, as the view from there is beautiful. This was our most expensive AirBnb that we stayed in.

Oh how I wish I could go back to this place. It was everything that was described, and more. It truly is a piece of heaven. Anne is so lovely and her place was fresh, comfortable and spotless. The view was breathtaking and the garden was wonderful. I would be lucky to come back here again! Thank you Anne for this experience and for being so incredibly kind and helpful.
