REAL LOG CABIN ON 3 ACRES restored back to former glory
Wood authentic décor. 1 mile up overlooking the town of Burnsville and a great mountain view. Paved road all the way up to Peacock Lane. Very safe great neighbors. Peaceful quiet abundant wildlife, deer, chipmunks, rabbits and lots of birds. Pet friendly with approval. Hummingbirds in summer. CHECK OUT THINGS TO DO

The space
Come enjoy our cabin and the beautiful fall colors fresh air and awesome outdoors. 3 bedrooms and 2.5 bath large cozy living room. Downstairs family room with pool table all the comforts of home.
The road up to our cabin is paved almost to the door which is a rare find since we are so far from the main road. Just a very short distance about 50 yards is gravel and the driveway is gravel. We have parking in front of the house and also on the top driveway in front of the barn.
You don't need 4 wheel drive most of the time but if there is snow or ice it might be necessary in the winter. We made it down the hill 25 degree grade with ice "VERY SLOWLY " and we don't have 4 wheel drive.
We always strive to make sure our cabin is sparkling clean and we do treat the house and yard for pests. Please let us know if you see anything in the house or outside that needs to be taken care of right away.
Prices subject to change depending on season and this is reflected on our calendar.
We are on well and septic and my maximum occupancy is due to limit on septic capacity.
We are 100% smoke free in the house and if you do smoke please go outside and do not litter the yard with butts, Thanks.
Our cabin is in a very safe area we do ask that there are no crazy wild parties but do encourage sitting by the fire pit and having a good time.
We do offer discounts on any bookings longer then 14 days
Please take your garbage to dump. There will be a $25 fee if my cleaning lady has to take it. Please note Sundays the dump is closed and also on holidays so take it the day before if you have to and directions to both dumps are in the blue book . Services are slim in the mountains.
Please note if I do approve you to have a dog there is a pet fee that will be added after the booking
We have 4 tvs 3 smart tvs one in one of the upstairs bedroom runs of cable.

WW HAVE A LOCK BOX OUTSIDE WITH KEYS EXTRA KEYS AND INFO BOOK WILL BE ON TABLE. ALL KEYS OPEN ALL DOORS TO OUTSIDE INCLUDING GARAGE DOOR EXCEPT FOR OUR PRIVATE STORAGE. OUR WIFI IS GREAT AND THE 3 BIG TVS ARE ALL SMART TVS WHICH MEANS YOU CAN STREAM IF YOU HAVE ACCOUNTS OR PLUG IN YOUR FIRESTICK.
FIREPIT USUALLY HAS PLENTY OF WOOD FIREPIT CHAIRS IN GARAGE PLEASE MAKE SURE FIRE OUT IF THE ASH BUCKET IS FULL YOU CAN DUMP IT ALONG THE PROPERTY LINE ALONG THE TOP WHERE THE GRAVEL ENDS AND PUT CHAIRS BACK IN GARAGE BEFORE YOU LEAVE. RUN DISHWASHER PUT ALL LINENS IN LAUNDRY ROOM

WE HAVE 3 BUCKS STOVES WHICH KEEP US TOASTY EVEN IN THE WINTER IN THE SUMMER WE DO TAKE OUT THE BATTERIES AND PUT REMOTES AND BATTERIES IN THE DESK IN ROOM WITH STONE FIREPLACE. WE HAVE 2 DEHUMIDIFIERS WHICH WE LEAVE ON ALL THE TIME.

AIR-CONDITIONING DONT LEAVE GARBAGE OUTSIDE BEARS LOVE BIRD FOOD AND GARBAGE. THE KEYS OPEN GARAGE WE KEEP GARBAGE IN GARAGE PLEASE TAKE TO DUMP BEFORE YOU LEAVE. $25 CHARGE IF YOU LEAVE FOR CLEANING

CLOSE TO ASHEVILLE (THE BIG CITY) ALL THE STORES WALMART ALDI PUBLIX LOWES IN WEAVERVILLE. BILTMORE ESTATE IS A DAY LONG EVENT AND IN FACT DEPENDING ON THE SEASON ALWAYS LOOKS DIFFERENT. BURNSVILLE HAS A MUSEUM THAT IS ALL ABOUT THE TOWN WHICH IS INTERESTING AND WORTH A VISIT. ALSO A HISTORICAL WALKING TOUR AROUND THE TOWN. WE HAVE THE PARKWAY PLAYHOUSE DOING GREAT SHOWS AND CHECK OUT CONCERTS IN THE PARK. TRY THE HIGH COUNTRY WINE TRAIL WHICH CONSISTS OF 5 WINERY'S BANNER ELK WINERY, GRANDFATHER VINEYARD, LINVILLE FALLS WINERY THE CLOSEST ABOUT 30 MINUTES AND VILLA NOVA VINYARDS LASTLY WATAUGA LAKE WINERY.
