Our one bedroom apartment offers a quiet place to stay in a small town just 6 miles from Kingsport, TN and 22 miles to Bristol, TN/VA. Originally an office in a century old building, this space was completely renovated into the apartment it is now. All new appliances, fixtures, furniture,and decor that will give you a glimpse into our part of the world. Located on the second floor, your key locks the building door behind you and a keyless code pad allows access to your apartment.

The Suites are in a quiet Southern town within walking distance to an award-winning bakery/espresso cafe, restaurants, antique stores. Summer months include opportunities for downtown festivals, outdoor movies and music concerts. Hikers will love the opportunities Natural Tunnel state park and Devil's Bathtub offer. Fishermen will be near the Clinch and the Holston Rivers with a Bass Pro located in Bristol. Others can float/ kayak the river with Adventure Mendota or visit Creation Kingdom Zoo in Snowflake, both approximately 10 miles away. For music lovers, besides the weekly area outdoor concerts, make plans to visit and flatfoot at the Carter Fold in Hiltons, VA or visit the Birthplace of Country Music in Bristol or the Rhythm and Roots Music Festival (September)

My husband and I live in downtown Gate City, have a love for downtown revitalization and are entrepreneurs living a retirement dream. We enjoy having guests and practicing Southern hospitality. I love to travel with my husband, Cotton, and very fortunate to have a grown daughter and granddaughter who share my wanderlust. Our favorite (so far) was a three generation girl's backpack only, nine day trip to Paris, London and Belfast that included wonderful Airbnb stays in Paris and London.
