The apartment was perfectly situated. The window faced the sea and the sunrises and sunsets were exceptional. The apartment was well equipped for cooking meals. We had a little difficulty finding the apartment but Alfonso was always readily available to help out.
My friends and I had an absolutely wonderful few days staying in Alfonso's apartment! The location is only a few steps from the beach and the size was perfect for the 3 of us. The flat is right on a loud street corner that woke us up one or two of the mornings, but it wasn't too bad. Fully equipped kitchen was a HUGE plus as we were able to make dinner for ourselves each night with no problem. We had a little trouble with the wifi internet at first, but they were quick to come help us solve the problem! Overall, an excellent stay!
Alfonso and family have a really great apartment. They have the best equipped kitchen we have had in over 10 months of travel. The views from the front windows are amazing. We loved Minori and this was in no small part to his lovely apartment. When we ran put of had they fixed it as soon as they could. Only 50 metres to the bus stop was also a bonus for those whose bags are bigger than they should be!
The only small downer is the bed which was a little too firm for us. Otherwise this has to be the best place on the Amalfi coast.
I thought Minori was wonderful and was glad to be staying in the most attractive spot on this whole coast (personal opinion of course!) and the little studio Alfonso provided was delightful, but it was not the one I understood I had booked. In effect this is a review of Alfonso's listing 'little studio in Minori amalfi cost' rather than 'elegant studio close to the sea'. When I arrived I found that the latter was occupied, however the kind tenant there helped me to contact Alfonso's assistant Vera who came down and helped me to carry my bag to the alternative accommodation. This was very clean and well fitted out and had an interesting view over the excavated ruins of a Roman villa. Reached by a little alleyway and up a flight of stairs, it had no outside space but was airy and conveniently situated for the many cafes and restaurants of the town. Excellent silent air con!
Unfortunately, on the last morning the gas ran out which meant that there was no hot water or way of making tea or coffee for breakfast, which was just as well as Vera arrived unexpected at 9 am. asking me to move out so that the place could be prepared for the next guest who was waiting to get in. Alfonso was there immediately to fix the gas situation so I'm sure that the next guest had all facilities restored though I missed my last leisurely morning in this quaint accommodation.
All in all, a flexible attitude is probably best adopted when booking this undeniably attractive accommodation.
Minori is a fantastic little village. We ended up being moved from originally booked apartment (elegant studio close to the sea) on arrival, due to a problem with the shower we were told. Had no choice but to be moved to the main house ( big enough for a family) which is much further from the sea. It's a great house, amaizing balcony/deck area looking out over the rooftops and sea. We had a wonderful time. Thanks
We had a lovely relaxing holiday in the apartment. Minori is absolutely charming and the apartment is literally a stone's throw from the beach. Highly recommended!
The apartment is in a great location in Minori, right in the heart of this cute little village. And Minori is in a great location on the Amalfi Coast, with easy access to Amalfi, Positano and the rest of the coast.
Vera (Alphonso's fantastic assistant) was very sweet and super helpful, showing us where the ATMs and the best restaurants were. She even guided us to the free street parking located about 15 minutes away, on the hill above town.
The apartment itself was clean and simple, offering us everything we needed. And for the price, it was a great value!
Thanks, Alphonso and Vera!
THEaartment was smaller than jI expected, but comfortable, except for the pillows (flat and lunmpy) and the shower - a bit small. The location is great. It is close to bus stop, arrest, shops and restaurants. I's. very easy too catch the bus to get to Salerno, Amalfi, Positano, etc. Ij did have trouble getting the wifi to work.
The reservation was canceled 12 days before arrival. This is an automated posting.
Very nice and cozy studio with vy the necessary. Alfonso is very sympathetic. The most authentic apartments in a Minori!
