Peace and quiet

Guests say this home is in a quiet area.
Some info has been automatically translated.
The Solargon is inspired by elements of Asian yurts, Navajo hogons and Native American hidatsa lodges. Combined with passive solar design principles, the solargon is an octagonal structure designed to take full advantage of the sun. The vaulted ceilings and plentiful windows make the solargon bright and inviting. This is a perfect spot for solo travelers or couples looking for a quiet, off the beaten path place to get away from it all.

The space
The solargon sits on a 40 acre parcel of land and is around 500 ft. away from the main house. The property borders BLM land on 2 sides and is at the end of a small private drive. Please be respectful of our neighbors and the wildlife and drive slowly. You’ll have a private driveway and a large parking space for up to 2 cars or a small travel trailer. There is a covered porch with beautiful views of the west elk mountains beyond and the juniper trees, sage brush and desert scenery surrounding you. Find the peace and quiet you’ve been looking for!
The solargon is a tiny home at around 350 sq. ft. There is a leather loveseat and a queen bed with memory foam mattress and a down alternative comforter which is hypoallergenic. A fully stocked kitchen with pots, pans, oven, microwave and plenty of counter space to enjoy cooking some local food finds! I do provide local coffee and creamers, syrups ext. The bathroom has a frameless glass shower with barnwood tile. Shampoo, conditioner, body soap, makeup remover wipes, blow dryer and towels are all provided. The space has air conditioning, heat, 50” smart tv with dish network and hughes net satellite internet.

Guest access
Guests are welcome to enjoy walks on the road leading up to the solargon. It’s a private drive and up to 2 well behaved dogs are welcome. I ask that your furry companions stay off of the couch and that you don’t leave them unattended in the solargon.

Other things to note
Luggage drop off is welcome and there is no lock box. Please let yourself in and enjoy your stay!
