Great location
100% of recent guests gave the location a 5-star rating.
Located in downtown Holland, in view of the Tulip parade, this adorable 2 bed home is 2 blocks from the Civic Center which hosts events and a great farmers market Wed. and Sat. and begins 8th Street where life bustles with outstanding shops and pubs. We have given it a gorgeous 21st Century overhall. A block away from a lakeside beautiful park and Boatwerks Restaurant with waterside seating, this location offers quick access to business and boating. Come enjoy a peaceful stay.

The space
This is an original 1899 Carriage House that we have updated from top to bottom, inside and out. A queen bed upstairs, queen pullout couch, double bed and an inflatable tall twin on main floor can house folks looking to rest easy in a perfect location close to town. Fenced in backyard has a shed with 4 bikes, 2 adult, 2 childrens, yard games and a patio with table and chairs. We are located downtown, near the water so expect the sounds of boats and all things business while letting the view of the water soothe away any stress. Sometimes you can watch cargo ships unload at the nearby gravel yard. This is a strict no pets, no smoking, no bonfire property.

Where you’ll be

Holland, Michigan, United States

We are located in the Historic District with a view of Lake Macatawa out your front door, Kollen park 1 block to the West and a fantastic Waterfront restaurant called Boatworks 500 feet from our place. Once in a while it's fun to see large Cargo ships dock in the harbor nearby at the gravel yard where weekday activity happens. A quick 2 block walk to Holland's Civic Center where Wed/Sat the Farmer's Market is held. The famous Cappon and Settler's House are the next block over. Windmill Island Entrance is a mile at the end of the shopping district and the Holland Museum, Library, and Sperry's dining Theater, within blocks from our home.

We have a fun and busy life with 3 young adult children. We enjoy time out with friends and our kids doing goofy things, laughing or playing games together. We enjoy camping and traveling, dirtbiking, fixing up houses, taking walks and watching movies. We spend a great deal of time working so when it is time to play it's important to us that fellowship happens.
