If there is one phrase that we would use to describe The Winery Loft, it is “attention to detail.” We spent over a decade building Le Petit Chevalier Vineyards and Farm Winery, and we are thrilled to open this unique experience up to guests! You can sleep where the rainbow ends! The Winery Loft features a spacious open floor plan, located on the second floor of our winery. Despite its openness, the loft is completely climate controlled, thoughtfully decorated and invites to simply relax.

The space
The Loft has two private balconies that offer panoramic views of our vineyards, and we are happy to stock the fridge with a selection of our estate-grown wine upon request. We are located just a short drive from nearby Hocking Hills and Lake Hope State Parks. We also follow a rigorous cleaning standard.

The Winery Loft has a private entrance, and your personal parking space will be reserved. The Loft is quite spacious, at just around 1,200 square feet. The bathroom features a rain shower head with massage points. The living and sleeping area have one king sized bed and one sleeper sofa. The open floor plan can be separated for some privacy with a custom designed dividing curtain. The kitchen comes fully equipped. Our guests can make themselves at home, staying 100% private, but are also welcomed to socialize if preferred. As we are a functioning vineyard & winery there are often employees and winery visitors around the property during business hours. We also have a fire ring and plenty of firewood for guests to use. However, at night the space becomes a serene and quiet retreat, free of city noise and light pollution. You can spend an evening sipping wine in the tasting room, around the fire, or can recline on the balcony under a truly spectacular blanket of stars.

As Vinton County’s first vineyard and winery, we are proud to be a part of our local town and community. If you are interested in exploring the natural landscape of the Appalachian foothills, we are located very close to all the trails in Hocking Hills State Park and are a 10-minute drive from Ash Cave. If dining out is more your style, Kindred Spirits Restaurant at the Inn and Spa at Cedar Falls offers breakfast, lunch and dinner and Lake Hope Lodge offers fantastic smoked food. In the warmer months, Lake Hope features a variety of water sports, including kayaking and paddle boarding. Guests interested in the local culture can experience parts of our Appalachian history by visiting Lake Hope State Furnace, Zaleski State Forest, or go ghost hunting at Moonville Tunnel. There are a number of additional local festivals, recreational activities, and nearby towns to explore, which we are happy to direct you to upon request. The Winery Loft is truly in the heart of it all, yet remote enough to offer a serene and quiet getaway.

Planting and living on a vineyard taught me many things, love for people, appreciation for nature, patience and gratitude every time we harvest.
