A remote cottage nestled in the woods on the border of Arkansas and Missouri. The cottage, built in the late 1800's is located on an exotic ranch in which American Bison, Elk, and Red Stag can be seen roaming nearby.
Guests will have full access to the house during their stay, along with limited access to various areas of the property; including walking paths, ponds, and creek front. Guests will have access to catch and release stocked fishing ponds, kayaks, and bonfire, upon request.
The space
The Cottage was built in the late 1800's and has all of its original charm but with the addition of extra bathrooms, central heat & air, TV with DVD player, and an updated kitchen.
The fully equipped kitchen has a stove, fridge, dishwasher, coffee maker, tea kettle, toaster oven, and microwave. We also supply dishware and utensils.
There is no WIFI and extremely limited cell phone service. AT&T does not work here. However Verizon and T-Mobile and Sprint do work. Please take note of this before your stay. We understand that great cell phone service may be essential to you, however, due to the remote location of the property it is not possible at this time. We encourage our guests to unplug, enjoy your company, and soak up the beautiful surroundings.
Linens, towels, and additional blankets are also supplied. Fire places shown are just for looks.
Guest access
The house is nestled in a secluded, wooded area surround by two ponds. There are numerous walking paths that will be open for use, including a path along Big Sugar Creek. Catch and release fishing is also allowed on our private ponds. Rentals for fishing rods, kayaks, and wood for bonfire are also available for an additional cost. Please inquire if interested.

Take note in regards to the limited cell phone signal and lack of wifi along with no use of fire places within the home. We want to make sure that the home meets all your needs and expectations so please send us a little note about yourselves and why you’re coming.

This cottage is located in a very remote location with zero neighbors. This is the place you come to take a break from the busy world and enjoy all that the Ozarks have to offer. We highly suggest that you grab groceries or any necessities you may need on your way out to the cottage before your stay. If you do need to go back into town we are only located 25 minutes from Downtown Rogers and 32 from downtown Bentonville, Arkansas.
