Brand new cabin in middle of the world heritage fjord.
You will be situated on the Dyrdal Gard camping premices with great view to the fjord and raging mountains.

The space
The cabin is located in a small village named Bakka.
Bakka is situated in the Naeroyfjord, and is 4 kilometers from Gudvangen.
Bakka has 8 inhabitatants, so the area is peaceful and quiet.
Farming has been and is the main income of the area, but tourism is growing more popular.
The cabin at Bakka is a great base for your fjord experience. With public boat it will take under 2 hours from Gudvangen to Flåm, alternatively 20 minutes with car. If you rent a boat/canoe or bring your own kayak you can also get to places like Styvi and Dyrdal.
It is 40 minutes to the local ski-resort (Myrkdalen) and 45 minutes to Voss. 2 ,5 hours to Bergen.

Olav is married to Katrine and we have 3 children and 4 grandchildren. Olav works offshore in Equinor, Katrine is a teacher. In the summer we run a small camping in Bakka. Our goal is for our guests to remember good and playful days here, surrounded by spectacular nature in Nærøyfjorden
