If you are looking for a resort in picturesque surroundings by the sea combined with the possibility of swimming and fishing from your own dock, then this is the right place! With a 5.5 acres large plot it is ideal for many activities and experiences. Stølsvikjo guarantees your privacy, a place which is quiet and placid away from the rustle and bustle. It is a secluded place, with good sunny conditions and sheltered spots where you can enjoy sea views and beautiful sunsets.

The space
The site consists of three buildings:
Main house sleeps 10, an annex sleeps 2 and a large boathouse.
A total of 12 beds in 6 separate rooms.

The main house has been upgraded and is modernly equipped. Located close to the shoreline it has the sea on three sides.

Ground floor contains the hall, kitchen (with dishwasher, etc.fully equipped with crockery and cooking utensils), bedroom (double bed), dining room and living room.
First floor contains a bathroom (Separate shower and bath, heated floor), four bedrooms (two with double beds and two smaller rooms each with two single beds)
The house has a total of 5 bedrooms with room for 10 persons, if necessary we can provide a children’s cot.

The annex is a small and cosy building (upgraded in 2004) located on the upper side of the main house. The ground floor has a large bedroom with a double bed. The annex functions well as an extra room where you can retreat from the main house to a quieter area, if desired.

The private quay stretches along most of the seafront. Parts of the deep water quay make it possible for larger boats to berth. This area creates the possibility for many activities. Fishing and swimming in the sea, bathing in the hot tub, relaxing or sunbathing on the garden furniture or even preparing the fish which you have just caught. It is an area equipped for many scenarios and has easy access to the boathouse.

The boathouse itself features boat accessories and more. There is also a room which is very nice to use for late-night meals with the sound of splashing waves and the smell of the salty water just outside. A heater is provided for chilly evenings. There is only one floor available in this building.

Where you’ll be

Bømlo, Hordaland, Norway

Stølsvikjo is an old trading post and part of the historical coastal environment on the western Norwegian coast. The combination of buildings and landscape surrounded by the pier, walking trails, roads and ancient stonewalls form an authentic frame for this coastal treasure. This is a historical place full of charm and authenticity!

Stølsvikjo is located near the idyllic canal “Kulleseidkanalen”. The canal divides the island of Bømlo in Sunnhordaland in two. From here you can reach both the eastern and western sides of the main island. It also provides a fantastic access to the island's rich coastline.

On Bømlo you don't need luck to catch fish. Among the rocks and islets out on the coast you are almost guaranteed fish. The islands are an eldorado for boaters, recreational fishermen and others who want proximity to the sea and marine life. The open sea is never far away no matter where you are.
