June through August we have a 3 night minimum as well as holidays. Check with us for availability as sometimes we can accommodate a 2 night stay during these times. Thank you for understanding.

3rd generation Yosemite son, and torch bearer of Camp Chilnualna in Wawona. Yosemite's best unkept secret since 1933. With 150 years of family experiences in Yosemite, I still find something new worth noticing every day & more than anything I love to share our history and our home with others. Families have made Wawona & Camp Chilnualna a tradition that spans generations. The best neighborhood in town because it's your neighborhood. I am here for you everyday of the year, because I never go anywhere & 6 hours of sleep per night is merely a suggestion. Oh, airbnb wants me to give you my motto - they think I'd have a motto? Ok I have a motto. You see, I've always strived to be an optimist, and was for a long time. It's tremendously hard work because my arch enemy, "the pessimist" is much greater in numbers, and has a terrible weapon we optimists can never fire - it's called "I'm just being realistic" and it's cheating to use it. Anyway I upgraded my motto from "The glass is half-full" to simply "Half-Glass Full". I need so much less than a full glass to feel grateful, and with gratitude we get to live half-glass full everyday. Pessimists can't touch it.
