About this listing
Enjoy summer in the mountains of Vermont at our 2BR w/loft duplex at The Bridges Family Resort, 1 mile from Lincoln Peak at Sugarbush. Classic Vermont charm and amazing array of amenities, incl. day camp for kids. The perfect family summer vacation!
This is our family ski condo for many years. The apartment is a 2 BR + loft duplex, comfortably sleeping 6. Both bedrooms have queen beds, and the loft has twin beds. The loft has sloping ceilings, so much more suited for small kids than adults. The living room, master bedroom and entry hall have lovely cathedral ceilings and exposed beams, with lots of light. There is a wood burning stove insert fireplace, to make roaring fires on those cold winter nights. Firestarter, kindling wood and wood provided for free.
The Bridges Resort offers an array of beautiful amenities - 10 outdoor tennis courts, 2 indoor tennis courts, indoor and outdoor pools, hot tub, restaurant/cafe, gym, day camp for young kids. All surrounded by majestic Vermont mountain peaks, and charming local villages, shops and restaurants. Very peaceful and lovely community feeling, too.
Guests can use all of the amenities of the resort. A key will be provided by the front desk upon arrival, which closes at 8 pm weeknights, and 10 pm on weekends.
Interaction with Guests
Guests will check in through the front desk of The Bridges Resort, which is open until 8 pm weeknights and 10 pm weekends. During holiday periods, also open to 10 pm. A key can be left under the mat for late arrivals.
Walking out the front door is always a breathtaking experience. The summer climate is beautiful, as it's at a higher elevation, so intense heat is rarely a problem. The evenings are delightfully cool and comfortable. The mountains and the surrounding villages are quintessential Vermont.
No public transportation is available during the summer. A car is definitely necessary. Cabs are available from Burlington Airport, which is 50 miles from the resort. During the winter, the Mad Bus shuttle provides free transportation to the base of Sugarbush, 20 minutes apart during peak times.
Other Things to Note
2 night minimum stay. 3 night minimum over the Christmas/New Year's period.
It's a family resort, so guests should be aware of keeping noise down around 10 pm, being considerate of the next door neighbors and downstairs neighbors.
This is an absolutely no-smoking property.
The condo was great! We booked through Airbnb after all the rooms at the main lodge and other spots were taken for a wedding. The house was quaint and was well stocked with amenities such as towels, TP, and kitchen essentials. There were two decks that we didn't utilize fully since we were at the pool just steps away. The main rec center was AWESOME - and since we traveled early in the summer season we were at times the only ones by the pool.
Todd was great to work with - very responsive and helpful with questions/requests. Would love to stay here again!
Thanks, Carlee ! We are so glad you and your friends enjoyed your stay. Our family has enjoyed our vacation condo for so many years, and we love those amenities there too, especially during the summer. We are delighted to have been able to share the experience with you. Do think of us again when you are considering another Vermont adventure weekend :)
This condo was clean, quiet and comfortable for a group of up to six, as advertised. Location is just a couple minutes from Sugarbush ski mountain which can be seen from the rear deck. A shuttle bus runs from the condo complex to the mountain for those who would prefer not to drive. The condo had a wood stove insert and plenty of firewood was provided. The owner was very responsive to questions. We enjoyed our stay and would recommend this condo to anyone interested in skiing in the area!
What a delight to stay at Todd's family condo! It has everything you could want, feels very homey, and is close to tons of fun things to do. You can literally walk to Sugarbush mountain. The town of Warren is one of the most charming in Vermont. Plus, the amenities at the resort are excellent and free. Todd couldn't have been more generous as a host. Everything about our trip was perfect.
About the Host, Todd
Originally from NYC area, I now reside in Miami Beach while spending late summer and early fall in Vermont. I was a corporate drone for 15 years haha, but have been lucky enough to be self-employed for 18 years now ! I love tennis, skiing, fitness, spending time outdoors either near the ocean or in the mountains, cozy restaurants, and any time I have the opportunity to speak French.
