The Julian Price House is located within one of three city historic districts. It is listed as a Guilford County landmark and is also on the National Register of Historic Places. Construction began in 1928 and was completed just 10 months later in 1929.

The space
Built in 1929, "Hillside" is located on a bluff overlooking the western lobe of Fisher Park in Greensboro, NC. The sprawling 31 room residence is an example of Period Revival architecture, specifically designed to evoke a rambling English Tudor home.

In 2017, the home was featured on the 2 hour season finale of A&E's Hoarders. The estate underwent an extensive 2 year restoration by its current owners of both the interior spaces and the 1.62 acre grounds.

The façade features rough stucco, herringbone brick, and false-half-timbered walls, massive brick chimneys with articulated flues and clay pots, and an asymmetrical massing that features gables, wall dormers, and a stair tower. The landscape is equally detailed, containing low stone retaining walls, serpentine flagstone walkways, and mature evergreen trees.

Guest access
You will have full private access to the main house while the family who maintains the estate live in the former servants wing.
