Our quiet, peaceful home is near Bodega Bay, just 1.5 hours north of San Francisco. This is an architect designed four bedroom home with a sauna that can comfortably accommodate 8 guests, and is ideal for those in need of long term- especially families with children! *Please note: no pets, no exceptions*

The space
This is a modern, architect-designed house in a quiet residential community near the small town of Bodega Bay. From our windows, you can look out on the bay or watch wildlife in the meadow. The home is nestled on the edge of a small community of homes. The house has a large dining area and a fully equipped kitchen, a comfortable living room and a cozy reading nook. Four bedrooms (3 with queen size beds, 1 with two twin beds) with cozy down comforters and three bathrooms (including 2 showers and 1 bath, though due to the limitations of our hot water heater, the tub can *not* be filled up and it can not be used as a jacuzzi. ). We have a wooden dry sauna that can fit 4 adults. For accessibility purposes, please note that our home does have a full staircase to enter the main level. Our place is great for families or groups looking for a tranquil short or longer term stay!

Guest access
The entire house is yours. This is our family's home, so you'll be sharing the space with our things. We ask that you respect our belongings and leave things as you found them. If anything breaks or spills, please let us know immediately so we can address it.

***Please note that this is not a party house- it's a quiet and tranquil retreat, and we ask guests to keep noise to a minimum so as not to disturb our neighbors! ***

There are four bedrooms: 3 queen beds and one bedroom has three single beds. The bedrooms are on two floors, with two bathrooms on the top floor (one with a shower and one without) and one bathroom on the bottom floor (with a shower).

There is a fully stocked kitchen and a long dining room redwood table that seats eight. We have a gas range stove, a big sink, dishwasher, microwave, plenty of nice cookware, oven, pots, pans, plates, utensils, and cabinet and fridge space for you to use, plus counter space if you like to cook.

Please note we do *not* have a barbecue. There is a TV in the master bedroom, but you will need to log in to your accounts (Netflix, Hulu, etc) as we do not provide cable.

There's also coffee making supplies (including an electric grinder, an electric drip coffee maker, and a single cup drip with paper filters) and a teapot.

We will provide fresh linens, sheets and towels. We also have a high chair and a pack n play in the back bedroom closet. There is a washing machine and a dryer on the bottom floor.

Other things to note
PLEASE ensure your booking request reflects the accurate number of guests coming, including children and infants. There are no pets allowed, and we are not able to make exceptions no matter how cute and quiet they are!

Also note that we have a hot water tank system, so you may have to be patient when it comes to hot water- it is not possible to fill the bathtub up all the way, and you may have to wait for the tank to fill up between showers (it takes about an hour).

Before booking, please note that our home has a staircase to access the living space and bedrooms, and the bathtub does have ledge (approximately 3 feet) that may be difficult for some to climb over.

Bodega Bay is conveniently located just up the coast from San Francisco. There are small grocery stories in the nearby towns of Bodega and Occidental. There is also a Whole Foods in Sebastapol and Petaluma, so you may want to stock up before you arrive.
