Absolutely beautiful, Paris and the apartment! After making us feel sooooo welcome we were taken on a tour of the local area, recommended places to go and places to eat! Was nervous as this was our first time on Airbnb but there was no need! Can't wait to come again! Loves the wooden feel to the apartment!
The apartment was amazing and Michel was a wonderful host! He greeted us at the apartment and ensured that not only did we know everything about the apartment that would make us feel at home; but also about the local area, advising about the best bakeries and restaurants. Michel shares a love of vintage items and good food so let us know about some real Parisian gems for us to explore during our visit. The apartment was immaculately presented with beautiful items and everything you could possibly need, including a much needed easy-to-use coffee machine! Because it's off the road behind a courtyard we felt a lovely sense of seclusion despite being fantastically placed for the Marais and many sights. Michel's thoughtfulness shines throughout the decor and upkeep of the apartment but also in his kindness and generosity. We had a wonderful time, Michel - thank you! Looking forward to our next stay.
My wife and I had a fantastic long weekend in Paris and very much enjoyed the apartment. It is very well maintained, cozy and very romantic. Michel was kind enough to show us around Bastille and made sure we understood where everything was. He even got us a last minute reservation at a fantastic bistro. A very generous host and absolutely worth the price! We plan to stay at his aprtment in Montparnasse the next time we visit Paris.
I would recommend this apartment to everyone who prefer to have authentic french staying experience! Michel is an incredible host who is so nice and considerate, I can say the lest host you would ever meet probably !
The apartment is just as pretty as the picture shown, very well decorated and so clean tidy:)i loved the little eiffel towel and kitchen with petite breakfast table! It is very well equipped with heaters, hairdryer, soap, body wash, towers etc. as well as everything needed for cooking , like oil, herbs, butter . And you could also prepare the breakfast with jam, butter. Milk and juice in fridge. So in fact you really nothing to worry on!
Michel is a very nice host, who picked up us on the street and allow us for earlier checkin sun e we have flight arrival in the early morning and with no local network to give a call. He has not only showing us around the apartment and taught us where are the things are and how to use it, he also helped us to have restaurant reservation and provide ideas for where to go. His apartment also have many travel guides for paris and name card for restaurant to go!!
Location is very convenient one, nearby Bastille metro station in 7 mins walking. A lot of nice bakery, cafe and restaurant nearby , as well as a supermarket. More importantly, there is a weekend local market, one of biggest one in Paris , next to metro station. Plenty selection of seafood, meats, vegi, cheese and hot food you can get there!!!
No wonder I would stay here again if I re-visit Paris!
Michel was an extremely gracious host, meeting us promptly as scheduled and giving us a tour of his neighborhood and local eateries. The area we resided in was not very touristy, which is exactly what we were looking for, with great local restaurants, bakeries, and bars. The apartment was cozy with all the amenities of home. We greatly enjoyed our stay!
We had the most wonderful stay at Michel's home in Paris! We had a seamless arrival on Monday afternoon and Michel was there to welcome us. He spent a great deal of time making sure we felt comfortable, showing us around the apartment and then taking us on a walking tour of the lovely Bastille neighborhood (pointing out his recommendations along the way). His recommendations were PERFECT and were our most delicious meals in Paris. He really goes above and beyond as a host and is one of the warmest and kindest people we have come across in our travels. The apartment is exactly as pictured and a really fun place to stay. We will be back and will recommend this apartment to our friends!

I'm really enjoying sharing my knowledge and experiences of the city through the many wonderful people who've stayed as my guests through Airbnb - what a fantastic concept it is. I take much pleasure in making sure anyone staying with me has a great experience and stay and have a very professional approach in the preparation and presentation of my apartment.
This apartment used to be my home in the city, and although I've moved now, I've taken a lot of care and paid a lot of attention in re-decorating and equipping it to make it the perfect pad from which to explore Paris...
If you've got any questions or need any help while planning your trip to Paris I'd be very happy to lend a helping hand.
Looking forward to hopefully meeting you and welcoming you to Paris...!
