Thanks for your kind hospitality, Michel. You are so kind and well considering for the client, especially for the customer like us who was the first time travel to Paris. The apartment is so comfort and just exactly the same with the photo is showing. The location is next to a metro station and is a quiet and peaceful neighbourhood. There is a lot of top grade restaurany nearby and so friendly to the tourist. It leaves us a very sweet memory about Paris.
We thank you so much for your hospitality. Your get acquainted tour into the neighborhood was super and helped us to feel at home. We loved your home and the location was great. Everything was better than the pictures on the site. We also appreciate you letting us leave our luggage for a late check-out on our last day and helping us to get to the taxi for the trip back to the train. Thanks for everything!!
Michel and his apartment in the Bastille neighborhood were wonderful. He was so gracious and helpful. . . he gave us a lot of great restaurant recommendations and useful tips. The neighborhood is fun and lively without being overwhelming or crowded. We loved it. I highly recommend Michel's apartment!
The apartment was lovely and just like the photos. The neighbourhood is safe and there are a lot of good places to eat nearby as well as shops and the metro stations are close. Michel was very kind and gave us a tour of the neighbourhood and suggested restaurants that had good food.
This apartment is charming in so many ways! The photos are spot-on; if anything, we found it to be more creative and beautifully decorated than the photos show. It was amazingly quiet, and we never felt like we were only blocks from the craziness of the Place de Bastille. The apt. is quite close to a major Metro stop (Bastille) and to a magnificent market (closed on Mondays).
One of the best things about this apartment was our host. Communication with him ahead of time was easy and he always responded quickly. We cannot say enough about his patience, helpfulness, and kindness shown to us upon our arrival. The frig was stocked with breakfast essentials, and he left a huge stash of guide books, maps, and restaurant suggestions for our use while there. It is clear that Michel pays close and thoughtful attention to the little things that can make a positive difference to weary travelers. He even gave us a little walking tour of the neighborhood to get us acclimated. With the one exception of not being able to stand up in the bedroom/clothes storage loft (which we were aware of before we rented), this was a most comfortable home-base for us as we expored the City. Thank you, Michel!!

About the Host, Michel
I'm really enjoying sharing my knowledge and experiences of the city through the many wonderful people who've stayed as my guests through Airbnb - what a fantastic concept it is. I take much pleasure in making sure anyone staying with me has a great experience and stay and have a very professional approach in the preparation and presentation of my apartment.
This apartment used to be my home in the city, and although I've moved now, I've taken a lot of care and paid a lot of attention in re-decorating and equipping it to make it the perfect pad from which to explore Paris...
If you've got any questions or need any help while planning your trip to Paris I'd be very happy to lend a helping hand.
Looking forward to hopefully meeting you and welcoming you to Paris...!
