Villa Amnalys offers full privacy with amazing sea view in its luxury settings, a 10-15 minute drive to several beautiful beaches or to the old town of Rethymno, where the main shops and restaurants.
It is situated in a private land of 6,000 square meters overlooking the Aegean sea.
The surrounding area is a quiet, natural environment ideal for relaxation but also very close to all kinds of supplies shops, restaurants and various services. You can find many grocery shops in Stavromenos village which is 6 km away but also the closest big living areas where you can find a variety of bakeries, supermarkets, nightlife and restaurants are the well known tourist areas of Platanias and Adelianos Kampos which are 10 min drive away.
Next to the villa is Amnatos village, the last village on the way to the historical Monastery of Arkadi. The village is built on a rocky and high location having superb views across the valley of Rethymno. The village was inhabited by the Venetians and the Turks and testify that the imposing buildings - towers of the village that survived until today. Houses Venetian notables (houses Benezi), glass chimney style Sebastiano Serlio, mansions from the 17th and 18th century, imposing towers (the Sanguinazzo) beautiful and lovely squares dominate and create a frame of a bygone era. Finally, the location enables visitors to explore the archaeological site & the new built museum of ancient Eleftherna and caves of Melidoni and Zoniana which are some of the most famous tourist destinations in central Crete.
