Enjoy a quiet, walkable neighborhood in Historic Uptown Park Avenue, nestled in the midst of the
Ouachita Mountains and Hot Springs National Park. Hiking and wildlife watching can start right out the front door. Gallery district, bathhouses, Northwoods hiking trail, Coffee shop, bath boutique and downtown within immediate vicinity. Wildlife in the area include numerous deer, birds of all types, raccoons, opossums, armadillos & squirrels!

The space
This is my home. It’s newly renovated and has hardwood floors throughout, with new appliances, features on demand hot-water, use of full-sized kitchen and appliances stocked with dishes, utensils and cook ware, washer/dryer, ironing board and iron, central heat and air, gas/convection stove and oven, microwave, Keurig coffee maker, toaster, Wi-Fi, internet, and Roku TV.
*If you use the washing machine, add the clothing prior to the water because... displacement. It will overflow if the water level is on high, and you add the clothes after the water. *
Guests can use the outside water hose (now winterized until spring) for crystal or bicycle cleanup. Please leave any crystal hunting gear and shoes outside and please be mindful of the red clay from the days digs and try not to track it in the house. There is room for bike storage in laundry room. I’ll have extra old beach towels and the like on hand in the laundry room to help dry off your bicycles before you bring them in.
The first of two private bedrooms features a midcentury modern teak queen ensemble. The second bedroom has a queen-sized bed on a frame, it is also equipped with a tiny tv and DVD player.
The common space living room has a sofa-bed. There are plenty of bedding supplies and extra pillows tucked into the spaces.

Guest access
Ramble on Dell is on the north side of Tower Mountain in Hot Springs National Park but is easy access flat walk in access. One car carport, graveled street front for level, clean street parking.
This guest accommodation access is for the entire original house which does not include the west addition and basement which are strictly locked off from guests. The attic and a shed in the back are also locked off from guests.
No smoking within the house, but there are ashtrays on the outdoor benches on the property. Please use them and dispose of any butts you may create.
Located just off the north end of Hot Springs in the historic district. Less than two miles to National Park Visitor Center, North Woods Biking Trailhead, Downtown Shopping and more. Less than 4 miles to Oaklawn Horse Racing Track.

Other things to note
Of note, this home was originally built in 1920 in Hot Springs National Reserve, according to my deed. I say that to say this, there are many charming character flaws you should be aware of as can be expected. Such as: I assure my deep ancient cast iron bathtub is clean even though it is an aged ivory tone instead of pristine white. There is a tall shower in there and a window you can crank open if you like fresh air in the bath!
Located in a pleasant walkable neighborhood adjacent to Hot Springs National Forest.

Neighborhood highlights

Wonderful and quiet, with easy access to everything you're looking for. Many wonderful things to explore in our little national park! Watch out for deer as they frequent the neighborhood especially at dusk. There are usually 3-5 and they can sometimes be in the road or jump out in front of traffic
