The house is located in a small neighbourhood called Sitio Rodas, just 1km from the vilage of Capao. Sitio Rodas is unique in Capao because of the environmental restrictions - lands are large and you can build on just 1%. So as a guest you are guaranteed space, peace and nature! The house is a new adobe construction based on the traditional house of the Bahian Sertao. It is very comfortable and surrounded by nature with wonderful views. You can also rent the guest cottage allowing for 7 guests.
The space
The house is fully equipped with everything you need - solar hot water (no weak electric showers!), full kitchen (including a vitamix), comfortable beds and amazing views. The garden is full of trees and flowers, agroforestry areas, a trampoline and slackline - and a deck you can use for yoga and exercise. There is a guest cottage 100 metres from the house which can be rented together allowing accommodation for 7 guests total. Please ask about this possibility.
The river is a 2 minute walk and if you follow it to the left there is a wonderful bathing place - called the represa. Many people here do swim nude so we ask guests to behave respectfully - and of course join in the nude bathing if you feel so inclined.
There are also trails to two other beautiful bathing spots - Rio Preto and Ponte Velho. Both are about 40 minutes walk from the house.
If you need help arriving, we can collect you from Palmeiras or Lencois for an agreed cost. We can offer guided hikes also if you are interested. And we can also help arrange classes or courses for you - yoga, meditation, circus, ayahuasca - there are a lot of possibilities in Capao, just ask.

Neighborhood highlights
A neighbour offers wonderful yoga classes every morning. the path in front of the house leads to a river where you can swim. Please respect the naturist vibe! In the village of Capao you have excellent food - Capao grande for pizza, Love Itália for Italian, Natural Bistro for vegetarian, clube das arte for vegan and many great local bars for beer etc. You can also order delivery from the house, just ask for contacts. There is also the possibility to take classes in everything from circus to capoeira as well as many healing experiences. We can advise on all of this!
