Guests love our custom home on the golf course, just half a block from The Cove, a favorite beach for surfing and beachcombing in Seaside, Oregon. This single level home features an open concept design with three king bedroom suites. It is light, bright, and filled with ocean imagery. From the gas fireplace to the gourmet kitchen, it's all new. There is a fenced backyard with Adirondack chairs on the patio, a hot tub and a propane grill. Plus, there is a game room in the garage.
The space
You will know you have arrived when you see this cute cottage featuring US Coast Guard District 13 colors. The green wainscot, white siding, and red roof are coastal classics. A painted life ring along the rope fence helps identify the home. The professionally landscaped yard is low-maintenance with no lawn.
Our three king bedroom cottage with three en suite bathrooms is light, bright, and beachy. Each en suite has a tub and shower or tub/shower combination.
The open concept living, dining and kitchen are centrally located. Between the two sliding glass doors to the patio along the golf course there is a toasty gas fireplace under a panoramic picture window with views to the coastal range. Big screen televisions are located in each bedroom and in the living room. These televisions offer local and national programming. DVR, On Demand, and movie rentals are not available.
There is plenty of off-street parking as required by the city so three couples can enjoy privacy and flexibility during their vacation. There is no parking in the garage since it is set up as a game room.
Lovely laminate floors make this a beach-friendly place to stay while gorgeous area rugs decorate each room. Oceanic art sets the theme. The luxurious linens finish the story. This property is not suitable for children because of the rare art and collectibles on display. There are games and cards for your enjoyment.
In the kitchen you will find everything you need. The list includes table service for six, chef's knives, spices, basic sundries (flour, sugar, salt, etc), pots and pans for the gas range, stainless utensils, food processor, blender, mixer, a drip coffee pot, Keurig coffee pot, air fryer, and a host of other convenience.
On the patio guests can enjoy a view of the fairway, watch native wildlife, or gaze up to the distance mountains. There are six Polywood Adirondack chairs in the fully fenced back yard with a propane barbecue, a fire pit, and a hot tub.
Just in case of emergency this home is complete with an emergency alert signal, an emergency radio, lanterns (not for beach use), and a first aid kit. There are fire extinguishers in the garage, kitchen pantry, and laundry room. The house phone is available should you need to call 9-1-1 for any reason.
This is a no smoking and no vaping property.
Guest access
Guests have access to all areas in the home with the exception of the owner's closet.

House Rules & City Ordinances:
-There are security cameras in use on the outside of the property
-No parties
-No smoking or vaping of any kind
-No drugs of any kind
-Maximum six guests at all times
-Maximum three cars on the property
-There is no on-street parking allowed by the City of Seaside on this street
-There is a noise ordinance in effect from 10pm to 8am.
-Be mindful of car alarms, slamming car doors, .and raised voices after 10pm, neighbors are full time residents
-The golf course is private property. Please do not trespass onto the course. Entry through the clubhouse is mandatory.
Directions: Turn west at the light onto U Ave. off the U.S. 101, then south/left onto Edgewood. The property is on the east side of the street. A painted life ring along the rope fence helps identify the home. You will be emailed an entry code for use on the Nest lock at the front door. You need to touch the black screen to activate the touch pad. Pull the door closed completely or the locking mechanism will not engage.
Access:
Check in: after 3:00pm
Check out: before 10:00am
The door code will be the last four digits of your phone number associated to your Airbnb account. Please check that you have your most recent number uploaded to the Airbnb application.
Televisions:
The televisions in the bedrooms operate differently than in the living room.
In the living room turn on the power and press the “Guide” button to select channels.
In the bedrooms, turn on the power, scroll across the bottom to select the Spectrum app. From there choose to see the guide from a list on the left of the screen.
None of the televisions are set up for DVR, On Demand or movie rentals.
Heating and Cooling:
The temperature in the house is pre-set.
Fireplace:
There is a switch on the left of the fireplace to turn it on. It is normal to experience a slight delay. There is a built-in timer that turns it off automatically.
Patio:
Outdoor pillows are in the basket near the door. Store them in the basket when not in use.
Cleaning:
Please leave used beds unmade.
Clear all dishes from the sink and counters.
Start the dishwasher before you leave.
Please contact us regarding any stains, damages or items in need of maintenance before your check out.
Emergencies:
There is an alert radio, first aid kit, and lanterns are in the kitchen pantry. Please do not remove the lanterns from the house. They are not for beach use. Fire extinguishers are in the garage, pantry and utility room. The water, fireplace, range and dryer will continue to work when the power is out.
