GLAMorous Camping-Fiesta Romantic! Snuggle under the stars by the fire in this secluded beautiful spot. You can plug in or ignore for an off the grid experience. Preferable to settle in before dark so we can bellhop your gear, otherwise it is fine to make your own way following solar lights up the hill. We offer catering for a no-fuss stay. There is plenty of private area to set up tents on this site to accommodate additional guests. This is 1 of 4 Mountain Fiesta Airbnb listings.

The space
*Note* Sorry no pets in the yurt unless they are considered as additional guests @$15 per visit.
LET YOUR MOUNTAIN ADVENTURE BEGIN! Yurt parking is on the left just after pulling in our driveway at our mailbox next to the metal potting shed. There is room for 2 vehicles there. The yurt is located up the driveway past the barn on the left and the gothic chicken coop and the log sided goat house on the right - on a solar lit footpath up a short steep hill behind our farm house, not accessible by car. Communicating and coordinating your arrival time is important if you would like assistance to the yurt with your gear. *IMPORTANT* If arriving in the evening after dark, we may not be available to assist you to the yurt. Solar lights on the goat fence will mark your path up to the yurt. We will meet you in the morning, as we are early birds. "You can't enjoy the view without the climb." We have windows w/screens to enjoy the view and provide a cross breeze.
Snuggle under the stars in front of a romantic fire. Cook for yourself on a charcoal grill or arrange catering for a stay-put no fuss stay. We added electricity for your GLAMping comfort with a fan and space heater as needed, dresser lamp and coffee maker and coffee/bring your own creamer OR just ignore it because off the grid seclusion can be just what the doctor ordered....great way to reconnect. There are two small battery powered lanterns in the yurt and tiki torches and solar sticks to light the area outside. 2 umbrellas are provided.
Our yurt is a Mother Nature lover's getaway, boasting a beautiful view, romantic queen bed, dining table and chairs, candles, picnic table, grill +lighter fluid (you provide charcoal), firepit, 2 camp chairs, tiki torch. Full moon evenings are amazing here! You can forage for firewood or buy dry cut wood from us.
We have a modern bathhouse/shower in front of the barn right near where you parked, and for your convenience, just outside the yurt, an outhouse is also available.
We can have chilly nights here. Even though I feel we have covered the comfy cozy department, if you are cold natured, you might want to come prepared. We have bath towels for you.
We do have a water vessel filled with our own spring water in the small yurt frig for drinking. You have access to a refrigerator/freezer in the bar near the parking area.
We also have 2 OTHER Mountain Fiesta Glamping listings on Airbnb. Check them out too. Great for a family compound.
The yurt is essentially a canvas tent so FYI, if it becomes saturated there could be minor leaking to manage. Do not let that dissuade. We have wifi on the property for your use, but it is not available at the yurt.

Guest access
PLEASE PRINT & refer to our detailed directions provided on our Airbnb Airbnb location page and our Mountain Fiesta website , as cell service is spotty and GPS has misdirected some of our guests.
NOTE
Unplugging is great for your health!

GROCERY/LIBATION SHOP BEFORE YOU ARRIVE. JAL "Just About Love" Lookout Yurt is located at our event venue, Mountain Fiesta.
You can walk our meandering gardens.
If unoccupied, Casa Viva, overlooking the creek, has a very inviting porch and it is a wonderful place to hang out when it is raining to read, play cards, have a glass of wine or just listen to the rain on the tin roof. Across the road from Casa Viva is fire pit for your use ( if we do not have creekside camping guests) and you and your pets can refresh and you can get your feet wet in the creek. As well, if the barn is unoccupied enjoy a movie or ping pong or take a nap in the hammocks. At the very least give a peek in the barn in case you or someone you know are planning an event or celebration, it is a beautiful rustic party space.
If you are a musician and would like an audience, let me know and that can be arranged.

Other things to note
PLEASE PRINT & refer to our detailed directions provided on our Airbnb location page and our website ((website hidden)), as cell service is spotty and GPS has misdirected some of our guests. We have a Verizon cell booster at our house, so if you have Verizon service you are in luck to make a call from our deck or our front porch. For emergencies, you can use our house phone. Closest place for service for other cell providers is 3m from the yurt. GROCERY/LIBATION SHOP BEFORE YOU ARRIVE!
We also list 2 other Mountain Fiesta Glamping sites on Airbnb. Check them out too. All of our listing would make a great gathering/event compound.

Neighborhood highlights

Linger long enough to experience “Mountain Time” in little known Spring Creek community, a slice of heaven not to be overlooked. Madison County, “The Jewel of the Blue Ridge,” shines with the Township 8’s little gems of Spring Creek, Bluff, Meadow Fork, Joe, Keenerville, Little Creek, Max Patch, Poplar Gap, Fox Run, Ball City, Betsy’s Gap, Friezeland, Trust & Luck, local areas of reference, from an era gone by, but names still honored today, each adding to the luster of the county jewel.
Farmers, some on land that has been dearly held by their family for generations, artists, craftsmen and laborers working hard for an honest day of work, rugged young families living off the land, Conservatives – Liberals, all live here with a common interest to breathe life, here in this amazing slice of Madison County. This is not just a romantic idea . . . . it’s a conscious choice, and a way of life that is cherished, relished and admired. Come get a taste. We think you will be drawn to the creek again and again.
From the top of Doggett Mountain, NW of Asheville & The Biltmore Estate and over Betsy’s Gap NE of Waynesville, to just south of Max Patch Bald and Hot Springs, Spring Creek is just over the Tennessee line, near Newport. Already a favorite ride for cyclists and motorcycle enthusiasts, fishermen and hunters, and destined to be a favorite weekend retreat destination for rest, reflection and a reconnect. Leave the city, the familiar, the routine.
Remote, yet accessible, tucked and rooted with rich history.

Historic Hot Springs is 15 miles from the yurt, a beautiful 30m drive and worth attention with restaurants and the hot springs fed tubs. Of course, downtown Asheville with it's wonders and the famous Biltmore Estate is only 45m away.

I love digging in the dirt and creating peaceful beauty to surround my family and friends. It is our pleasure to share the best we have to offer. Our little slice of heaven has organically grown over time and is in a constant state of change. In its’ past life this property served as a traditional farm then a garden center and now a sanctuary for guests and the place we call home.
