Great location

We are located in Takilma, Oregon - about 12 miles outside of Cave Junction, Oregon. We are close to the Oregon Caves National Monument, the Redwood National Forest and the Oregon coast. There is plenty of hiking, fishing, and rafting in our area as well! Please note this is a treehouse built among the canopy and branches of a tree. During certain times, especially early spring and summer there is the potential for bugs to be in the treehouse. This includes spiders, ants and bees.

The space
The Forestree sits about 32 feet off of the ground and can sleep 4 to 5 people. It is a single room unit with a queen bed, single wide bunk beds, a small single cot built into the wall, mini refrigerator, and a toilet and sink. The toilet and sink are not very private, they are only separated from the room by a thin curtain but they are mainly in the room so you don't have to go down 30 feet to the ground in the middle of the night to use a restroom. There are full regular bathrooms available for guest use on the ground level. The Forestree is accessed by climbing three flights of stairs, crossing two suspension bridges and then climbing another seven stairs to get into the room.

*Please note: This is an actual treehouse and is supported by the trees themselves. This means there is an expectation of movement and noise when the wind blows. If we are experiencing extreme weather conditions we may have to close the unit and refund your stay or move you into one of our units that is not a treehouse. Cancelling and/or moving guests is NOT a common occurrence.
