Enjoy a marvelous view of Galveston Beach from the balcony of the family friendly accommodations of Shelly Seashore. Shelly's charm rests in its soothing, beachy decor and spacious rooms. With its high ceiling and queen bed, the master bedroom provides an oasis after a day of sun, sand, and surf. Shelly Seashore is ideal for families. This suite has a queen master, child-friendly bunk-room (2 twins/2 full), queen sleeper sofa, and two full baths. Allowing for sleeping of 10 people

The space
The Building was Built in 1898 by the Army Corps of Engineer as the Fort Crockett Military Base Administration Building. It’s just recently been purchased by Tucker And I and being converted into luxury themed vacation rentals.

Guest access
Parking is behind the building in front of any garage. Additional parking is anywhere along side or front of building on the road area.
Parking in these areas are always free to our guests.

Depending on where you parked, find your way from either the rear of building through the outside hallway (to your right) to the stairs leading to Shelly Seashore. Or from the front of the building up the 1st story patio, down short stairs (on your right) to see the stairs leading up to Shelly Seashore (G).

If parking in the front of the building, make your way up the front patio steps in the center of the walkway, turn left then walk around to the left side of the building. You will see the steps leading to Shelly Seashore (G).

Once up the stairs you will come to a small landing in front of another room (H). Take a right and keep going up a much shorter set of stairs to see the front door of Shelly Seashore (G)

You have arrived! Your key will be in the lockbox next to your room door marked G.

Guests will have access to parking, as well as a outdoor shower.

Other things to note
We are directly across the seawall from the beach! You are 50 steps from the sand!

Neighborhood highlights

You are right on the beach! It’s just a matter of walking across the seawall! You have lots of places to walk and entertain yourself. There’s a gas station, pizza place, Academy store, goodwill, Salsa’s Mexican restaurant and more right next door or across the street. It’s close enough to walk to the pleasure pier or other attractions along the seawall. Not to mention, Ben & Jerry's Ice cream across the street! (I personally like the chocolate and banana and Tucker always gets cookies and cream)
