Shisa is bright with the rare Ryukyu tatami. Full of character and colour given by the decor of Ryukyu influence. It hosts up to 2 people on futons.Free fast WIFI, fridge, a private balcony. BREAKFAST AVAILABLE. We serve a westen-based mix style breakfast which can be ordered flexibly during your stays, 1000JPY- 1 person-1 stay. We don't live there, so Check-in by appointment. One free parking space offered by reservation, on a first come first served basis.

The space
The building has 2 floors (European counting, 3 US counting). On the ground floor there is a secluded cafe with an Italian and European feel. On the first floor there are two rooms both with en-suite bathrooms. The rooms have western beds and the materials and colors used give a distinctive Asian and Japanese touch. The second floor has two tatami rooms, one Ryukyu and the other Japanese tatami, with 2 futons each. Guests staying on this floor share the bathroom and toilet. The roof terrace is a place to relax.

Each room has a small balcony, a minibar fridge, tea and coffee facilities, and a hair dryer. The bathrooms have showers with a large head. As in the Japanese fashion we kindly ask guests to remove their shoes: we do provide room slippers.

We also have futons for 2 extra guests.

La Passione has been designed as a boutique B&B: a refurbished family home with four rooms, 3 bathrooms, a dining room and kitchen. Families are also welcome. When the house is booked as a unit, we arrange a living area with a sofa and carpets for a relaxing family get away. Guests can enjoy conversing or reading as there is no TV. Fast WIFI is accessible throughout the building. We have a professional kitchen and we can arrange meals to be prepared for you either with Westen dishes or local Okinawan delicacies.

Last but not least there is a roof garden to enjoy the early evening breeze with a view of the rooftops of the neighbourhood.

La Passione is in a residential street of one of the old and popular quarters of the town. It is a short walk to the Makishi public market, and to the heart of city, Kokusaidori. Nearby an interesting array of shops selling hand made goods, from clothes to home baked cookies, can be found. From La Passione you can explore off the beaten track attractions, local restaurants and eating places as well as observe everyday life. Yet, it is still very close to the hustle and bustle of Kokusaidori. It is also close to the Cathedral. If you like walking about, you can explore the lanes near by accessible only by pedestrians or wander in one of the two parks.
