About this listing
Charming ground floor south facing apartment in Chesières with sunny terrace and stunning views. 1 bedroom, bathroom, living room with open brick fireplace and well equipped kitchen. Close to main ski lift and local (website hidden), Internet, Ski storage.
This is our lovely chalet apartment in wonderful Villars, a great place to go any time of the year. A place to relax and escape from the world into the mountain air of the beautiful Swiss Alps or sample the many recreational activities offered in the area.
The 40m2 apartment is on the ground floor and faces south with unencumbered simply stunning views of the mountains known as ‘Les Dents du Midi’. During the winter the space is warm and cosy with central heating and a log fire, while in the spring and summer the terrace is a great place to enjoy the sunshine and eat a hearty breakfast of freshly baked croissants from the local patisserie just 3 minutes walk away.
Accommodation is really ideal for 2 people as there is one main bedroom, however there are two sofa beds in the living room which can be used on occasion. I’ve spent many weeks here with my two (now teenage) children sleeping on the sofa beds and even if it is a little cramped it seems to work just fine for them.

We very much enjoyed our stay at Ingram’s place in Villars. The apartment is just as described, and was clean and well kept. The building is quiet, very well situated, and we especially enjoyed eating on the terrace with its magnificent views. Ingram was a friendly, helpful, responsive host, and we would gladly stay again sometime.
Ce logement était très accueillant et sympathique. La vue est exceptionnelle. Ingram était très réceptif et a répondu rapidement aux emails et questions. A recommandé.
We were staying at Ingram's place at Villars during our visit to Switzerland. The Chalet was comfortable and clean.
It's located about 15 min walk from the charming Villars center - where you can find the tourist info, bikes/ski rentals, restaurants and cafe's and supermarkets.
The place is a bit small for 4 adults, but for a families (2 adults & 2 kids) or pairs it should be perfect :)
First day and a half it rained, and we could not see anything.
Then the next morning the sun slowly pushed the clouds away. Gorgeous snow - covered peaks appeared in of circle of 270 degrees. One of the most stunning sights in my lifetime
Ingram was very responsive and helpful. The flat was very cozy, cute and has a stunning view. Although we had a little issue when we checked in and flat was a bit cold without the fireplace working, the overall stay was pleasant. We would be happy to come back!
We have absolutely enjoyed our stay at Ingram's apartment! It is easy to reach the telecabine by bus or by car, it has an amazing view with a big terrace outside (i can only imagine how nice it is to sit outside in summer!), and the apartment has all you need for a comfortable stay. The piste's are also nice, however, we found them quite short which means you go down very fast and you have to go up quite often. We visited the glacier 3000 which is a must do!
