The Homestead @ Glenwood is a spacious, light filled, mud brick home set on a 200 acres of lush farmland, surrounded by the rolling hills of the picturesque Lurg Valley in Northeast Victoria (Winton Motor Raceway 10km, Benalla 23km, Wangaratta 44km, The King Valley 25km). The Homestead @ Glenwood offers guests refined classic country charm, and the opportunity to relax and unwind in a truly tranquil setting. Fully self contained and with a wrap around verandah, guests can relax and take in the views of the surrounding farmland, the coming and going of bird life on the nearby lake, or the option of watching the sun set with a refreshing, crisp glass of locally produced prosecco in hand. The Homestead is perfect for enjoying a sumptuous seep-in (12 noon check out), and long lazy mornings enjoying gourmet home brewed coffee, or exploring the many attractions of the surrounding area. The Homestead has the space for a relaxed family getaway or a weekend away with friends. Everyone will enjoy having the space and privacy of 7 individual bedrooms, as well as large indoor and outdoor common spaces to gather comfortably.

The Homestead sleeps up to 12 guests and consists of 7 bedrooms and 3 bathrooms ensuring guests space and privacy.

High quality bed linen and towels are provided.
Heating and cooling are provided via a split system heater / AC as well as an evaporative cooling system and ceiling fans. A Jindara combustion wood heater adds warmth and a cosy feel in the cooler months. Each bedroom has a thermostat controlled NOBO heater and a ceiling fan for personal comfort. Due to the Homesteads mud brick construction, ample north facing windows and wide verandah, it retains a year round comfortable temperature. The mud brick construction ensures the Homestead retains heat in the cooler months, and stays cool in the summer.
The Kitchen has all the modern convenience of home, including, full sized oven, 4 burner electric cook top, microwave oven, and two large fridge / freezers. Tea and coffee making facilities include a Breville Barista Pro coffee machine, K-fee coffee pod machine, coffee plunger and tea pot. Cooking utensils, cutlery and crockery are provided along with some basics pantry items (tea, coffee, sugar, milk, and our farm fresh eggs ).
The recently refurbished laundry has a 7.5Kg front load washing machine, a dryer, and an outdoor clothes line for your convenience.
The Homestead is the perfect base to explore the many attractions of the Victorian High Country, Benalla’s many attractions and art’s events, Winton Motor Raceway, Milawa’s Gourmet Region, Winton Wetlands or the world class wineries of the King Valley.
There is plenty of space to park cars, trailers, caravans and vans.

The Homestead is located on a working farm, and as such you will hear animal noises, and there are some things to be cautious of. These include the movement of farm machinery, electric fences and dams. We ask that guests not venture into paddocks as large animals (cattle and sheep) can be unpredictable. We ask that you respect the animals and most importantly please leave all gates, as you find them.
Please note that as the Homestead is located on a working farm, it is not suitable for pets. This includes service and support animals.
