Please Note: big bit is located on the ground floor & I live above. Big Bit is a bonkers load of colour & fun. Designed specifically to bring joy to anyone who enters, this space cannot fail to make your heart smile. From a secret den to a sunlit rainbow room, this unique place is unlike any other in the world, let alone Margate! Located in the heart of Old Town, you would never guess that this treasure is behind the Georgian facade. Perfect for those who love something extra ordinary.

The space
It is important to note that the space consists of an open plan living/dining and kitchen area, with a raised sleep pod in one corner and a secret snug underneath, which doubles as a bedroom. The incredible location alone is its selling point but when inside what stands Big Bit apart from the rest is its playful & bespoke layout and decor.
Nestled in the heart of Margate Old Town, there is a vast choice of independent boutiques, restaurants & cafes right outside the door.

Other things to note
The space you are booking is exceptionally unique. And whilst we have stipulated no children under 2, it is something that is possible but we would rather discuss it with you before you book. 👍
The maximum booking is for 5 people - this is 2 adults and 3 smallish kids as the cloud room is a lovely den vibe they like to curl up in.

Margate Old Town is utterly charming. Cobbled streets, market squares and an array of incredible independent galleries, shops, restaurants and cafes. Margate is so vibrant and Old Town showcases that. From
Big Bits front door the sea is a 20 second walk. The Turner Contemporary Gallery is 1 minute and Dreamland is 5 minutes! It really is the easiest place to find, and to explore all that Margate has to offer.
