This 500 sq ft studio cottage at the edge of the woods provides a relaxing country retreat. Enjoy this newly remodeled guest house with antique wood floors and wood ceiling and a beautiful landscape outside your doors.

The space
The cottage is on 5 acres with gardens and large trees. In the spring, many wild trillium bloom along the woods and a variety of fruit trees are in bloom. Enjoy the fresh fruit when in season. The small efficient kitchen is equipped to make your own meals if you choose, or there are several restaurants 2-5 miles away. The antique wood floors and painted paneled walls and casework create a bright space, nostalgic of a cottage from days past. Enjoy sitting or grilling and dining out on the covered patio or relax around the outdoor fire pit. The cottage has a laundry room with new washer and dryer for your use and extra chairs and a cooler if you need them while you stay. No Smoking. No pets.

Guest access
The cottage, covered patio, yard, and garden.

Other things to note
Enjoy the 40" TV with +/- 10 channels and Netflix for streaming movies. There is free WiFi for your wireless internet use. The bathroom is equipped with towels, soap, shampoo, and a blow dryer.
We have two small dogs who may bark when you arrive, but they are friendly and are fenced in our yard away from the cottage.
We may be able to work with you on check in and check out times depending on if we are booked before or after your visit.
The cottage is not an appropriate choice if you are traveling with a toddler, however, if you are traveling with an infant we do have a small crib. No pets, NO SMOKING!

Location

Oregon City, Oregon, United States

Oregon City is a small historic town, the official "End of the Oregon Trail". There are museums in town, four miles away, as well as several restaurants and pubs. Clackamette Park, where the Clackamas and Willamette Rivers converge, has nice walking trails and tables to sit by the river. We are an hour from Mount Hood ski resorts, and less than two hours to the Oregon Coast. Silver Falls is an hour south and the Columbia Gorge and Multnomah Falls 45 minutes north. Clackamas Town Center, a very large retail mall and many restaurants is a 15 minute drive. Downtown Portland is about a 30 minute drive, depending on traffic.
