We welcome you to stay at our inviting home in the hamlet of High Falls. The two-story early 1900's era farmhouse is set on 12 private acres off a quiet country road in a lovely residential area. Grounds feature access to woods & pond + the canoe-ready Roundout Creek. A large sunlit family room, a variety of games, vast outdoor space with patio furniture, in-ground pool/deck/BBQ/swings/firepit/hammock offer the perfect place to relax and restore your connection to nature, friends and family.

Our 12 acre property is filled with trees, front and back yards, open fields, and features an in-ground pool, stone patio with seating, swings, ping pong table, charcoal grilling area, fire pit, hammock, deck with table chairs and lounges, and a comfortable front porch with seating. The spacious open fields allow for activities of all kinds and the private walking trail in woods leads to a pond and the Roundout Creek, with a canoe available on request.

Our home is set back from the road, offering peace, quiet and privacy, with a large front yard featuring many old trees. Perfect for whiffle ball, football or any group activity, or just watching the birds over morning coffee on the porch. A large sunroom faces the back of the house where you can view the pool and where there are trees as far as the eye can see. A trail down to the creek runs alongside the open field.

The first floor features a full country kitchen with all modern appliances, mudroom/laundry room, full bathroom, a breakfast area with table for 6-8, cozy living room with WBF and Smart TV with app's and cable subscription, and a generously-sized and light-filled sunroom with additional dining table for 10, multiple seating areas, games, another Smart TV, working desk/printer etc. - guests spend most of their time here! Wi-fi available throughout the house.

The second floor features 4 comfortable bedrooms including master (King), guest (Queen), guest (trundle with 2 twin beds) and guest (with 2 twin beds). An office nook is nestled in the front, looking out onto the front lawn, with a large bathroom in back that boasts a clawfoot tub (note: in this bathroom to shower you can use the handheld in the bath), original to the house.

We’re on a quiet country road in a residential area and close to Rosendale, Woodstock, Rhinebeck, Hudson, Saugerties and New Paltz. Many other great areas and towns are just a stone's throw away. We’re less than an hour to Belleayre, Hunter and Wyndham ski resorts. You can take a short 10 minute drive over the mountain to Mohonk Mountain House to enjoy their world-famous spa, golf course, ice skating, boating, and more. The famous 'High Falls' are a short 10 minute walk into town where you can hang out and sunbathe on the rocks or swim in the crystal-clear waters of the falls. The small town offers a few lovely and renowned restaurants, coffee shop/cafes, home decor shops, vintage goods and open-air flea markets on the weekends.
