Estate featured on HGTV and The Wall Street Journal. “Salem Woods” on Gardner Lake features an amazing shared indoor 8000 sq. Year round:salt water pool & spa, hot tub, sauna, & steam room. Enjoy: walking trails, half a mile of private sandy beach, 2 docks, fire pits, canoes, kayaks, fishing, water sports.

The space
This guest lodge is complete with open kitchen/dining/TV space. Perfect space for a vacation on the lake.
The Lodge has five mattresses and a fold out couch you have the option of sleeping in a bunk bed, full size, single or the queen bed. The bunk has a full size mattresses with a twin on top.

Guest access
This property was designed to host large family gatherings and weddings. This property features our 8000 sq. indoor pool spa area , it also features a former baseball field with water views for outdoor activities. We also have 2 kayaks and a row boat that are available for your use. We have many hiking trails thru out and features 5 cascading koi ponds with waterfalls. There are may outdoor activates that can be enjoyed at this property from swimming to fishing off of out dock.



As an added bonus you have shared access to a beautiful year round indoor 82 degree sale water pool , 104 degree hot tub, 110 degree stream room and sauna. Over 36 acres of lakefront property with walking trails to explore., lakeside fire pits, two docks with many boats and half a mile of sandy beach.

Southeastern Connecticut features many family and adult activities to enjoy. We are 20 minutes from Mystic, 10 minutes from Mohegan Sun and 20 minutes from Foxwoods. Mystic has many family oriented activates like the world famous Mystic Aquarium and Seaport. There is also great food located in downtown Mystic. Mohegan Sun and Foxwoods also features great dinning and concert and they also have children's play areas that features many of the top arcade games. New to the area is NasKart the worlds largest indoor karting track and Supercharged an indoor trampoline park located in the same building. Also located 10 minutes from our estate is the Dinosaur Place and features 40+ life-sized dinosaurs and mini golf course.

The name of this property is Salem Woods on Gardner Lake located at 45 Forest Drive Salem Connecticut. Hosting this unique property, steeped in history of Gardner Lake, meets a number of points on my passion scale. The owners are tremendous and the property is off the charts beautiful. A truly unique opportunity for guests to get a taste of New England while choosing to relax, get active, play or explore - Or do it all while you stay with us. Salem Woods on Gardner Lake - Formerly a Boy Scout Camp built in 1917, sold in 2006, and turned into a family retreat, is now ready for you to enjoy. Not only does the property tell a story with it's chimney built in 1933, the gorgeous gardens, koi ponds, waterfalls, and lakefront location but the property also brings together a multitude of stories as people visit with us from across the United States and beyond. Come write your story with us. Don't forget your fishing poles, bikes, swim suits, and a good book.
