40 acres conveniently located 4 miles north of Lockhart Texas, 25mins south of Austin. This farmhouse has a great layout that is very accommodating. The deck over the pond is perfect for catching up w/ friends, watching the sunrise and sunset. Country setting only 5 mins from the BBQ Capitol of Texas.
Notice- it is possible to fall into the water, please be aware before booking. No infants please. Also, this is my family getaway home, it is not a party house.

The space
Guest are welcome to all 40 acres, with access to 22 acres of heavy woods, when arranged. We ask that you do not use motorized vehicles or toys off the gravel road. It is great for fishing with BARBLESS hooks. Fully stocked with bass, perch, and catfish.

Please understand this is my home, it is not a party house.

Neighborhood highlights

We are close to Black’s, Smitty’s, Kruez Market, Chisholm Trail and we rent a building on premises to the famous pit builders Mill-Scale. The local restaurants and bars in Lockhart are all super friendly and easy to get to. We have a great HEB in town and plenty to do around the square, must check out Flash candy store and Loop n Lil’s.
