Located on Northern California's most remote coastline, Shelter Cove is a gateway to the Lost Coast.

From Shelter Cove you can hike the Lost Coast and venture into the vastness of the King Range Conservation Area, whether it be a day or a week. Fish, spend time investigating tidepools or stroll on nearby Black Sands Beach.

The space
One of the Most Under Used Fishing Spots in California is Shelter Cove! With Some of the Best Variety of Fishing; Albacore, Halibut, Salmon, Rockcod, Lingcod, Crab and more!!! With a View and Beaches like no other.

Guest access
Both bedrooms have a California king. There is also a sofa bed in the living area that sleeps two. Plenty of room for up to 6 adults. You get the whole upper unit of the duplex , 1000 square feet of living space, with a full bath, full kitchen, living area with majestic views of the ocean over the fir trees, and two bedrooms and the upper deck.

Other things to note
This is a 420 friendly airbnb but we ask that you please smoke outside. The nearest legal dispensary to Shelter Cove is the Country Club in Redway about a 45 minute drive.

Due to the COVID-19 epidemic we will no longer be greeting guests and keeping a physical distance. We will also be doubling down on our already excellent cleaning and disinfecting of surfaces after guests including uvc and ozone disinfection of unit between each stay.

Neighborhood highlights

The property is located on a hill top at the end of a circle. Very secluded and private overlooking the pacific ocean, lost coast and kings range. Its a great place for whale watching. And bird watchers will love it In the spring and summer purple martins nest in the eaves and nesting boxes, all year you will find vultures, falcons, hawks and eagles roosting on the two dead trees out back.
