Remarkable place to stay! The hosts welcomed us with open arms. Their kindness and home was beautiful in every way. I miss the views of this Tuscan stone house, the sound of the church bells, the friendliness of the village people, the delicious food, everything! It offered all the tick marks for us. Thank you Giacomo and Rolly.
Room was good. Lounge was only place Wi-Fi worked, which was restricting. It was a bit dark. Lots of steps and the road in was precarious for the unaware
Our guest Pam did not read the house rules, we have chosen to have wi fi available only in the lounge because we prefer people communicate to each other and not to sit in front of their uploads! It is a choice, if she found that restricting probably our house was not the one to choose! Tuscan countryside is well known for narrow roads in the hills and lots of terraces with olive trees and vineyards, that's why we have steps. The house is full of light, probably she was there on a bad dark day. I would suggest to read house rules before you book! Thanks
Schade!

We had a very great stay at Giacomo's place. Though we didn't see the host other than when we arrived and left after 3 days, we were welcomed properly and we've been shown the villa facilities. We had access to a pool, a kitchen, a living room, a private bathroom with shower, a patio and all we needed to enjoy a great stay. The view is stunning and you can enjoy the place to relax, have a drink and enjoy the pool. Keep in mind the the wifi is only available in the living room. Also, we think it would be preferable for you to look for the place during day time. Roads are very tights and sometimes steep. We had a little difficulty to find the place (even with Giacomo's indications) since we were not used to drive in Tuscany. But once we found it, we immediately fell in love with the place. We where 2 adults with no children.
I have always wanted to come stay shortly after discovering Airbnb but wasn't able to find the time etc so imagine my delight when I finally check in! Room and bathroom are clean-nice hot shower. We had the top two (attic) rooms which were beautiful-not recommended for tall guests at all since we had to be careful as well (we are less than 1.6m height). Giacomo was around and had the pleasure of meeting and having him cook us breakfast for a small fee. Communication with Rolly was quick and precise. The dogs were lovely, the pool was lovely and the view is so worth the trip! I will be back and next time with a car and for longer!
Our stay in Lamporecchio was definately the highlight of our Tuscany tour. The view is just amazing and, in itself, worth the trip. Giacomo`s place is really nice as well and had everything we were looking for. Thank you for having us!
"Schönen Abend" from Germany!
Piece of advice for people planning on coming with their bicycles:
We came from Florence (approx. 45 km away) and chose the foot route on google maps. Don`t make the same mistake unless you`re hardcore bikers. We ended up heaving our bikes up the mountain for 2,5 hours and an about 50% gradient. Make sure to take the car route and ride the strada provinciale. ;)
What can we say? our stay was beyond beautiful and magical !! The country side.. the home, the views. It was the perfect location. Our room was extremely comfortable and the views from our window were storybook gorgeous. The pictures of the home are just as the home looks. Thank you to Giacomo and Rolly. Thank you
