Extra spacious

Guests love this home’s spaciousness for a comfortable stay.
This charming, country 1926 farmhouse sits atop rolling country fields just outside the village of Maiden Rock, and just a few miles to Stockholm, Pepin, & Red Wing, Mn.

This farmhouse was purchased by the host's parents in 1987. While being raised here with 8 siblings, this home felt very small. After growing up and finding a life of her own, she found her way back home and has been putting her interior design skills to work on Little Square Farmhouse since 2008.

The space
Make memories on the breezy front porch, snuggling our 2 friendly outside cats. Eat meals at the farm table made from almost 100 year old studs from one of our walls. Have a relaxing evening in front of the fire pit or fireplace, then cozy up in a unique bedroom between fresh cotton linens and fluffy pillows, then wake refreshed to a lovely country view, complete with our laying hens.

Guest access
Although Little Square Farmhouse has sweeping country views for miles, I only own 1 acre. Please do not go past the 2 pine trees. The outbuildings are off limits, please. During your stay, I will be staying in my Airstream behind the garage. My area is separated by a partial fence to give us some privacy. However, I am easily accessible if you need us during your stay. (Airbnb messages, texts, or phone calls preferred.)

Other things to note
***ABSOLUTELY NO PARTIES, EVENTS OR EXTRA VISITORS WITHOUT PRIOR APPROVAL FROM HOST! Be honest and transparent please! I do NOT allow extra people to visit my home or property unless they are on the reservation OR you have received prior permission from the host.

ABSOLUTELY NO PETS- (Because this is my only home, the State of Wisconsin does NOT require me to accommodate service animals or emotional support animals. (I have 2 outdoor cats- never allowed inside the house. I am very mindful of those with allergies. I also have chickens on-site.

During your stay I will be staying in my Airstream behind the garage. There is a fence that gives me some privacy.

There are a few spaces that are off-limits. Outside, anything past the garage (pine trees) is not my property. Please do not go past the pine trees to the East.
In the house, off limits spaces include the basement, (unless bad weather makes it necessary ) closets, china cupboard in the kitchen, and any locked space that’s zip-tied, screwed shut or locked) Otherwise, she’s all yours.

Other things to note: my home can accommodate 8 people sharing beds, plus 2 more in the single beds upstairs. There also is a twin air mattress (can fit between the twin beds) upstairs to accommodate 11 total in the upstairs bedrooms. In the living room, there is a big, comfy couch. I also have a queen-sized air mattress for the living room floor located in the room off of the living room.
