Peace and quiet

Guests say this home is in a quiet area.
This gorgeous house is built right in the boughs of the trees reconnecting you with tales like the Lord of the Rings and the Magic Faraway Tree. Take an adventure into this dreamy dwelling that's nestled in its own private stand of native trees. This quiet getaway is not far from the city, and based on our secluded 28 acre property. Breakfast items are also provided for you to prepare at your leisure.

The space
The house has a full kitchen with electric oven and gas cooktop, and all necessary utensils including toaster, jug, coffee machine and fridge. Amenities include a heat pump for heating or cooling, a bluetooth speaker and a heated towel rail. The bedroom, bathroom (with separate bath and shower), kitchen and living are all on one level. While this treehouse is on our home property, it is secluded and private. The french doors from the lounge flow out on to an expansive deck where you can enjoy your morning coffee, listening to the native bird song and trickling stream. Nestled just off the deck amongst the native trees is an outdoor bath, perfect for a relaxing soak. There are some games, puzzles and books provided for your entertainment. The house does not have wifi or TV for a truly restful break; however there is good mobile phone coverage if required. Unfortunately, due to council regulations, guests are unable to access the mezzanine and top balcony and cannot use the fireplace.

Guest access
The treehouse is an entirely separate dwelling to our own house, set several hundred metres away. People in either house can not see the other. The first long part of the driveway is shared. On our property we have a dog, chickens, cattle, horses and a cat. The treehouse has its own garden and deck setting too.

Other things to note
New: We have now installed a separate plug in the parking area so you can charge your EV.
This is an 8 amp outlet in the car park to plug your portable EV charger into.
