Country vibe only 10 minutes from Memphis! Come sample farm life at our family homestead and wedding venue. Large oak trees, ponds, horses, dogs, ducks, chickens, pigs, and honeybees enliven the atmosphere around this 500 acre farm just 10 minutes outside of Memphis. Nestled inside a converted classic car garage, our farm hideaway is dark and quiet for a great night's rest. Enjoy your coffee out on the patio and watch the horses amble about.

The space
Nestled behind our barn is a recently renovated space converted from part of our car garage. The space itself does not have any windows to the outside, however, if you prefer more sunlight in the mornings or anytime, many guests choose to have coffee and breakfast out on the porch of the car garage in view of the roaming horses. Come and go as you please with a full kitchen and spacious bathroom. Queen bed with a brand new mattress and a twin trundle available upon request. We provide Directv, wi-fi, and fresh farm eggs.

We live in a rural area, surrounded mostly by farmland. The neighbors are hard-working people that care about the land and its well-being. However, we're also part of the greater Memphis area, which nicely blends small-town living with the culture of the nearby city.

During your stay
You'll receive instructions to check yourself in. I'm generally around doing farm work, but I leave guests to their own devices unless they need me. I'm happy to give walking tours of the farm and answer any questions. There's a lot going on out at the farm with our horse boarders and family members around. Many people have commented on how friendly everyone is, and my brother and mom are quite chatty so they may say hello if they happen upon you.
