Cozy studio in recently restored monument in the heart of Otrobanda in UNESCO World Heritage City of Willemstad. The studio has a small kitchen, double bed, relaxing chairs, work space, bathroom with rain shower and a cosy private garden.

The bed is a queen size bed (1.40 x 2.00 m).

The studio has no hot water, only 'cold' water which is not really cold, sometimes even hot, depending on the time of the year and time of the day. It's very common in Curaçao not to have a heater.

Otrobanda is a very lively part of the center of Willemstad with a rich culture and history that is visible in the monumental architecture of different centuries. The studio is situated in the Alley area, with narrow streets that are typical for this part of Otrobanda. On walking distance there's an old fort, the Rif fort, at the entrance of the harbor. The floating bridge takes you to Punda, at the other side of the harbor entrance, with old forts, churches and government buildings.

Otrobanda is full of life and culture 🎶 In August we celebrate Kaya Kaya: a colorful street festival with art, music and dancing late into the night. During Carnival, the main parades also finish here in the neighborhood. Wonderful experiences, but less suitable if you’re looking for complete silence.
