Luxurious and fully equipped 1400 square foot apartment. All appliances including washer & dryer. Fast Internet and cable TV. Close to hotels, groceries, and Schells Brewery within walking distance. Paved Bike trail across the street. The Suite is perfect for working people coming to New Ulm needing a very comfortable place to stay short term or longer. It's also great for a weekend getaway. We are at times flexible with the number of guests. If more than 3 people, prior approval is required.
The space
Walk through the door and have everything at your fingertips instantly including fast wireless internet, cable TV. The Suite is very warm, inviting and comfortable (set the thermostat so you are comfortable. Guests have the entire apartment (1400 sq/ft) to themselves with their own entry doors. Feel free to prepare meals, most cookware is supplied. Discounts for longer stays - $90/Nt for a week or longer, $67/Nt for a month or more.
Feel free to use the washer and dryer ( no quarters needed). ***Please note that what is listed as bedroom number 2 is not a legal bedroom as there are no windows.
Guest access
The entire suite is yours. There are two locked doors to enter the apartment, one at street level and one at the top of the stairs. Your own private entry. You will have your own off street concert driveway/parking.
Other things to note
Keurig coffee maker and coffee is available. Usually a bottle of red and white wine, might be a couple of cans of Schells beer in the fridge. PLEASE, the beverages are for your enjoyment while you are staying in the Suite. If you do not drink them during your stay, please leave them in the suite for the next guest. Must be able to climb 15 indoor steps to enter apt. Snow plowing is provided for driveways and front porch. Never sure what time they will get to us but they always come and do a great job.

New Ulm has a very rich German Heritage. There are several historic events that have occurred here. Most notably the Dakota Indian Uprising which happened in 1862. The town of New Ulm was almost entirely burned to the ground. By visiting th Brown County Historical Museum would give you more information about this event. Other sites you may want to visit are the Glockenspiel, Herman the German, Schells Brewery( the second oldest family owned brewery in the nation which is 160 years old), Flandrau State Park, Morgan Creek Winery, German Bohemian Park (along with many other parks throughout the city), there is also a bike trail (located across the street from the suite).

Hi, We are a laid back retired couple (Rod, a Nurse Anesthetist and Roz, a Nurse) that travel a lot in our 43 foot Motorcoach (sometimes we will be here, sometimes not. We like to be comfortable as we go and have incorporated this in our air B&B Suite. for guests and occasionally family or friends that visit.
We really enjoy our two beautiful granddaughters (8 & 5) and love babysitting so Mom and Dad can get away. The rules get loosened up some when Pappy & Nana are there. We also love our JRT/Pug Louie, he travels well. We enjoy cooking, (the more garlic the better).
As hosts, we really like watching guests enter the Suite and go "Wow, this is great" and then reading there reviews that they really enjoyed there stay. We hope you consider us if you need a relaxing, comfortable place to stay while in New Ulm. Rod and Roz
