The space
Be prepared to be amazed as you enter Aurum, where an unforgettable panorama of Lake Wānaka and the Southern Alps immediately takes centre stage. With floor-to-ceiling windows and expansive sliding doors, the open-plan living area flows seamlessly onto a sun-drenched deck, creating the feeling of floating above the lake.

Architecturally designed by Sebastiano Broadhead, this stunning villa is a bold statement in modern design. The interior is finished to a high standard, with luxurious furnishings and thoughtful touches throughout. The home features three bedrooms—two with ensuites and one with a bathroom next door—all of which can be configured as twin rooms, making it perfect for families or groups of friends. A separate media room adds extra space to relax, while the designer kitchen—complete with lake views—is a natural gathering point for shared meals and conversation.

Located just a short walk or ride from the lakefront, Aurum offers easy access to Wānaka’s tracks and trails. Hire bikes and explore the shoreline, stopping for swims and picnics along the way.

Please be aware that this property is managed by ‘Release Wanaka’. We are a local Wanaka property management business and we are legally responsible for the care of the property. We require a fully refundable security bond for each booking. This will be refunded in full within 7 days of departure, as long as no loss or damage has occurred at the property. We require credit card details either before you arrive or on the day of arrival. The security bond for Aurum is NZ$3,000.

This property does not have a live calendar and is enquiry only. Please contact us for availability.

There is a one off booking management fee of NZ$350 per reservation. On Airbnb, this fee is spread over the nights of your booking.

If you are checking in or out on a public holiday, a surcharge of $NZ 280.00 is added to your booking. If the check-in & check-out dates both fall on public holiday, the surcharge will be $NZ 280.00 for each day.

All bookings made with Release Wanaka through this platform are subject to receipt of a signed rental agreement. A booking is not considered confirmed until the agreement has been completed and received.
