It is a traditional stone-built dovecote of the 19th century, 300 meters from the picturesque village of Triantaros. It is located on an estate full of olive trees, perched on the rock and with its only company the doves and the running waters of the spring that pass below!

The space
Socrates' pigeon house was built with great effort and love to initially house the pigeons of the island. It is now a cottage that provides peace, tranquility and comfort, keeping of course intact the unique Tinian architecture that my ancestors gave it. All the boxes that served as the entrance of the pigeons remained offering natural light to the space, and those stone ones that young birds nested in, remind us that happiness lies in the simple joys of life.

On the ground floor there is a fully equipped kitchen, a living room with the possibility of sleeping - upon request - another guest on the built-in sofa and a spacious bathroom!A staircase leads to the upper floor which is the bedroom and for safety reasons it would be a good idea to close the hatch while you are in it. The courtyard of the dovecote has a unique view of the Aegean Sea and the surrounding villages and will definitely be the place where you will spend most of your day!
