The space
This is the first floor of a large red brick town villa, near the centre of Stege town, the capital of Møn island. Large rooms and high ceilings make for a very spacious place, in a traditional town villa style. You are welcome to use the garden behind the house, for example for having breakfast when the weather is nice.

Coffee and tea is provided.

We can go shopping for you before you arrive if there is anything you need and the shops are closed when you arrive.
If you would like something for breakfast, let us know what you like, and we can go shopping for it. Then you can pay for it later.

On clear nights we can arrange a view through the telescopes we have on the property, to explore the night sky. The island is a designated Dark Sky Park, and we have very little light pollution here.

Guest access
You can use the whole apartment, using your own separate entrance and key. Everything in the apartment is for guests to use.

There is a drying rack in the garden for drying your laundry, and also a dryer machine for when the weather is not good for drying outside.

Other things to note
I live downstairs, so it's easy to contact me if you need assistance with anything.

If you only need to stay for one night, please contact me to ask about availability.

We clean the whole living space between bookings.

Where you’ll be

Stege, Denmark

The house is located near the centre of Stege, in a quiet green neighbourhood. Stege is located centrally on the island.

Stege is a beautiful historical town with a lively atmosphere during summer, but can be quiet during winter months. We have a busy market every Tuesday during July and August, which converts most of the town into a walking area with many activities for children and bargain-hunting adults.

Stargazing: Møn is an internationally recognised Dark Sky Park, which means we have very little light pollution. On clear nights you are welcome to have a look through the telescopes we have on the property, to explore the wonders of the night sky.
Please find "Dark Sky Moen Guide" for information about our dark sky park.

Visit our bees: If you are interested in beekeeping, we have several beehives in the garden, which we will happily show you. We produce our own honey which is for sale. The bees are very peaceful, and you will not notice them unless you want to.

Flea markets: Møn has many flea markets with interesting artefacts and furniture for sale at bargain prices.

Art: We have several famous art galleries on the island. Møn has for many years been a favourite location for artists, and there are regular exhibitions of their work.

Møn is a famous location for Sea Trout fishing, and I can organise fishing trips with a certified sports fishing guide.

I am a frequent traveller, and know what makes me feel at home in a new place. I try to give the same feeling to my guests, by helping them feel welcome, without interfering. If you need any kind of advice or guiding for activities, I am ready to help and answer your questions. I am available for guided tours in the beautiful nature here, for dark sky safaris at night, and courses in beekeeping if you would like to learn about the wonderful world of honeybees. If you are interested in photography, I can guide you to the most scenic spots for landscape photography. I am very interested in the historical sites on the island, and can guide you to the most interesting stone age tombs, and the world famous beautiful chalk frescos in some of our old churches.
