Remember that it's fundamental to have a car in Sardinia. Means of transport(except for Cagliari) are rare! you need a car to stay at my house too.
At home you'll find a blue folder with maps, tips about beaches, cultural sites, restaurants, bakery, fishmonger and cheap supermarkets.Print my airbnb guide too. You'll have any assistance you may need by my landlady who lives nearby.

Guest Access

the guests can use whatever they find in the house except for something which is stored in the white cupboard. you'll find salt, pepper and any other spice for the cooking, table cloth, linen and towels.

Interaction with Guests

the guests can send me messages if I'm abroad or call me directly if I'm in Italy, I usually tell them where I'm for work.
Valeria, the landlady is usually available to solve any problem it may arise.
At home, you'll find a blue folder for any instructions you may need about the house but also tips for places to visit, best beaches to go to and restaurants, useful numbers too.

The Neighborhood

The area is very peaceful, no crime, just relax, no traffic, no noise. very few people live there.

Getting Around

Unfortunately there are no means of transport available for this area.
we have only a private bus "deplano" running to and fro 4 times a day from the airport to Nuoro and stopping in Murta Maria, 2,5 kilometers from my house

Other Things to Note

You'll find a blue folder at home with some instructions for the house such as Water, gas, elettricity, and the stove.
In the same folder there are other tips for places to visit, best beaches to go to and restaurants. There are also suggestions where to buy food for less. Please, read the guide on this site, it may help as well as the rules of the house.

House Rules

The house you're staying in is "home" for me, not a mere place to rent, so, please, respect it so as the objects which are in : dear memories for me.
It's forbidden to smoke inside ( there are terraces and a garden big enough to do it) but, please, do not throw cigarettes in the plants or wherever, there are ashtrays.
Pets are allowed if they are small and they behave well.
In that area water is provided by private wells, in case the well doesn't work or doesn't provide water I have to buy water for 80 euros every 5000 thousands liters, so, please, do not waste it.; close the taps any time you don't really use it, It's better to use plastic dishes and glasses.
I can provide you for 5000 of water every week, not more.
They come and pick up the humid garbage two days a week: you can put in a big plastic container outside in the meantime. On the way home ypu find different containers for plastic, glass and paper.
there are no cesspit in country houses, but each of them has a sump, which is to be cleared every now and then, so please, do not throw toilet paper in the water closet; it's better in the waste container of the toilet to avoid pollution.
