About This Listing
This is a family house, located in a residential area, 15 minutes from the train station and a ten minute walk to the city centre of La Spezia. A big advantage is that it only takes ten minutes to reach the breathtaking Cinque Terre by train from La Spezia.
The house consists of a comfortable living room, a kitchen equip with everything you might need to cook, two difference entrances and two parking spaces. The property offers two very nicely decorated and relaxing double rooms with private bathrooms and free Wi-Fi. Surrounding the house there is a beautiful private rose garden with table and chairs. A perfect place to enjoy a meal or a glass of cold rose wine during the warm Ligurian summers.
It is possible to rent rooms or the whole house. From 2 of April to November the 1st me and my husband live in Monterosso al Mare so this house is available during this whole period.
As we are owners of a B&B SoleMare, Monterosso al Mare, we can also help with any day trips you might be interested in, for example we could take you on a beautiful trip on our yacht to see the Ligurian spectacular coast.
The house is a short 20 minute drive from the wonderful Golf Club Marigola Lerici.
Our house is easily accessible both by car and public transport.

We stayed for 3 nights at Wanda's house. We were two couples and the bedroom and bathroom on each floor provided a good privacy while we could join in the dining area at meal times.
We did not meet Wanda but before our arrival she gave me very detailed information how to enter her house so there was no problem. The house was clean and beautifully decorated and the kitchen was modern with top quality utencils..pots, pans ..etc.
It was in a quiet neighborhood about 15-20 minutes from La Spezia Station on foot. There was a Coop supermaket in 10 minutes by walk.
Overall we enjoyed Wanda's place.
We were going to stay in a hotel in La Spezia but decided to do the air bnb instead. I'm happy that we made the choice to because staying at Wanda's place was a pleasure. She was very accommodating and informative of the area and things we wanted to do while we visited. Her place was clean and felt like home. I highly recommend staying here. Thanks Wanda!!
Wanda and Emilio were wonderful hosts. She was always available via text and email even when she was not able to physically be there. But when we needed some assistance with the washer they were very prompt in coming by to help us out.
The information at the house was very helpful. We also discovered a very nice restaurant one block away from the pizzeria that we would highly recommend adding to the list of restaurants. The local flavors were fantastic! We tried some local dishes (Testaroli - a crepe-like "pasta" served with pesto and Granchio - crab with gnocci) We went back a second time - it was so delicious! The name of the restaurant is Contodini Ristorante.
We also discovered another grocery store that is on the walk back from the train station that could save a bit of extra walking. Unfortunately we only discovered it the night before we were to leave. I would suggest adding that to the information as well. The grocery store that was recommended was great when just going from the house and back.
The walk to the train station was a bit longer than I had expected but doable. We walked so much at Cinque Terre it was sometimes a bummer to have to walk all the way back at the end of the day.
Thank you Wanda and Emilio!!
The listing for the house is spot on. It is in a residential area surrounded by neighbors with a large outside patio. The house was very clean. The train and shops are nearby. We had to keep the windows open so we did hear a lot of outside noise, including the train. It was a bonus to have a spot to park the car. Wanda met us at the house and answered any questions we had. Unfortunately, we found that the house was very damp and had a musty/moldy smell to it. We were also unable to use the tub, the oven, and the dishwasher. The walk to the train was about 20 mins and the neighborhoods we walked through were questionable. The surrounding Portovenere and Cinqueterre towns were amazing.
Wanda's two storey, two bedroom, two bathroom house was perfect for the four of us (2 couple). Facilities were as described on her AirBnB page and the house was located just 5 minutes away from an excellent pizzeria and a pretty good restaurant. The easy walk into town was less than 20 minutes and then you had good access to a large supermarket, lots more restaurants and cafes and the main train station which provided access to the five Cinque Terre towns. Overall, we were very happy with the house, its facilities and location.
