About this listing
This is a family house, located in a residential area, 15 minutes from the train station and a ten minute walk to the city centre of La Spezia. A big advantage is that it only takes ten minutes to reach the breathtaking Cinque Terre by train from La Spezia.
The house consists of a comfortable living room, a kitchen equip with everything you might need to cook, two difference entrances and two parking spaces. The property offers two very nicely decorated and relaxing double rooms with private bathrooms and free Wi-Fi. Surrounding the house there is a beautiful private rose garden with table and chairs. A perfect place to enjoy a meal or a glass of cold rose wine during the warm Ligurian summers.
It is possible to rent rooms or the whole house. From 2 of April to November the 1st me and my husband live in Monterosso al Mare so this house is available during this whole period.
As we are owners of a B&B SoleMare, Monterosso al Mare, we can also help with any day trips you might be interested in, for example we could take you on a beautiful trip on our yacht to see the Ligurian spectacular coast.
The house is a short 20 minute drive from the wonderful Golf Club Marigola Lerici.
Our house is easily accessible both by car and public transport.

This place is very quiet and location is very good - easy to go to cinque terre. But also easy to go to carrara or Parma. For ppl like us who come by car. This place is very suitable cos it has its own car park. - good choice
Wanda is a good host with a lovely home that is super clean and stocked with all the necessities. The interior is cozy, warm and inviting with comfortable beds, nicer in person than the photos. This location works best for adults traveling with a car. It is a 15 minute drive from the train station, taxi will cost you 12 euro. The walk to the station takes a good 35 minutes then a 20 minute train ride to Riomaggiore. We ate all of our meals in the Cinque Terra because there is no market right by the house. Try Marina Piccola, in Manarola outstanding food with breathtaking views.
We really loved staying at Wanda and Emilio's delightful home. Traveling with 4 people on a shoestring budget can sometimes be difficult (especially since one member of our party prefers to not have to trudge up and down stairs), but Wanda and Emilio's place was a welcome simplicity. The neighborhood is cute and lively, the house is ship-shape, modern, comfortable, and ornately decorated. The kitchen is wonderful to use, though we were confused about the lack of freezer (we later found one in the washer and dryer closet), and dysfunction of the stove. The jacuzzi doesn't work, which was fine because we didn't have time for that anyway!
Overall, our stay was amazing and smooth and parking our car was a breeze (though the streets are very very narrow!!!) thanks Wanda for your detailed help and welcome!
A great option, particularly if you have a hire car as there is ample parking. The home is very comfortable and serviceable and what you see in the pics is exactly what you get. Loved the courtyard, very pleasant to sit under the umbrella in the evening and for breakfast. Wanda was very pleasant to deal with, great communication throughout as necessary. Highly recommend.
Wanda's place made us feel so at home and we were very comfortable throughout our stay there. Wanda was very helpful and made sure we settled in well upon our arrival. The listing description fit to a T and I will recommend Wanda's place to friends or family should they plan to take a trip to La Spezia!
We stayed for 3 nights at Wanda's house. We were two couples and the bedroom and bathroom on each floor provided a good privacy while we could join in the dining area at meal times.
We did not meet Wanda but before our arrival she gave me very detailed information how to enter her house so there was no problem. The house was clean and beautifully decorated and the kitchen was modern with top quality utencils..pots, pans ..etc.
It was in a quiet neighborhood about 15-20 minutes from La Spezia Station on foot. There was a Coop supermaket in 10 minutes by walk.
Overall we enjoyed Wanda's place.
