W&E's house nearby Cinqueterre!

Villa - Entire home/apt · Via Vappa, La Spezia, Liguria 19123, Italy

The Space

This is a family house, located in a residential area, 15 minutes from the train station and a ten minute walk to the city centre of La Spezia. A big advantage is that it only takes ten minutes to reach the breathtaking Cinque Terre by train from La Spezia.

The house consists of a comfortable living room, a kitchen equip with everything you might need to cook, two difference entrances and two parking spaces. The property offers two very nicely decorated and relaxing double rooms with private bathrooms and free Wi-Fi. Surrounding the house there is a beautiful private rose garden with table and chairs. A perfect place to enjoy a meal or a glass of cold rose wine during the warm Ligurian summers.

It is possible to rent rooms or the whole house. From 2 of April to November the 1st me and my husband live in Monterosso al Mare so this house is available during this whole period.

As we are owners of a B&B SoleMare, Monterosso al Mare, we can also help with any day trips you might be interested in, for example we could take you on a beautiful trip on our yacht to see the Ligurian spectacular coast.
The house is a short 20 minute drive from the wonderful Golf Club Marigola Lerici.
Our house is easily accessible both by car and public transport.

  • Awesome large house! Location was central enough to the center of town (10-15 minute walk to La Spezia train station to take train to Cinque Terre) but far enough away to feel like a local La Spezian. The house is super clean and nice, newly renovated, spacious, and feels like a HOUSE, not an apartment. It's excellent. The outdoor space is to die for and it's just awesome to stay here. The dryer and the bathtub were down during our stay and both were big bummers, but we managed just fine anyway. Wanda was super nice and responsive and helpful and, in general, do yourself a favor and stay here if you are visiting this part of Italy or Cinque Terre!

  • Wanda's house in La Spezia is a diamond in the rough. The house was a beautiful two story home surrounded by a decent sized yard/patio area that is gated (as are most of the homes on that street). Everything you need is in the house, washer/dryer, cooking stuff, wifi, etc. The house is just fantastic. With that being said, I wish I would have researched La Spezia a bit more because walking to the train station was a little dicey. Perfect place for those with a love of graffiti because this city is covered. In essence, beautiful home with "adventurous" surroundings.

  • Absolutely great. Got it all. Parking ,wifi, TV, close to train station , close to town, and clean and gorgeous. Well equipped. We all loved it!

  • Wanda and Emilo were wonderful hosts. The W&E house is beautiful, well maintained, very clean, with a great kitchen. If you like a cup of tea, there is a kettle.. We purchased a two day rail pass to Cinque Terra and took full advantage of it.
The train terminal centro is only a 15 min walk.
We highly recommend this home as your headquarters for exploring Cinque Terra.

  • This is a beautiful house ... if you're planning on visiting Cinque Terre, this is the place to stay. All of the previous reviews are absolutely correct! Thank you Wanda and Emilio for sharing your wonderful home.

  • Extremely comfortable house, beautifully furnished and with everything you could possibly need. It feels like the owner has just moved out! Spotlessly clean. Wanda's restaurant recommendations [local pizzeria & Inferno in town] were wonderful, and all information about the town [station/supermarket etc] were printed out with maps. Great wifi. Wanda was always available and very helpful. Excellent, secure off-street parking, but nothing on-street if you arrive early as it's a residential area with narrow streets. Very quiet area, friendly locals. 15 minutes easy walk to the station, 10 to the supermarket. Lovely outdoor sitting area. Easy train ride to Cinque Terre and an hour to Pisa by train. 15 minutes drive to Porto Venere which is beautiful. Easy access from Autostrade to La Spezia. Downtown La Spezia's mall areas are charming and worth a look. Pleasant stroll to the Marina/yacht harbour.

  • We have stayed in W&E's house for three nights late in August. La Spezia was our base for visiting Cinque Terre. Wanda and Emilio are great hosts, very caring and very friendly. All communication with Wanda was great and responded professionally.

The house is located in a quiet neighborhood in La Spezia but is very close to the Central station of La Spezia (accurately 10 minutes walk). It is also a just a couple of minutes walk from the main road where there is a mini market.

The photos reflect exactly the house which was very clean .

WIFI worked great, Kitchen is very convenient and the rooms are very specious.

It was really nice coming back from a full day to the "5 lands" and relaxing outside in the patio. Around the house there is a big garden.

Thank you Wanda and Emilio for making our holidays in Cinque Terre so special.

I definitely recommend this place !!!

  • My family had a great stay here in August while we visited Cinque Terre. The house is beautifully furnished and very spacious, with two levels. If is a great setup if you are traveling with a family or two couples.

It is a 15-20 minute walk to the train station, which is not bad but a bit tiresome after long days exploring Cinque Terre. Alternately, a taxi costs about 12 euros. The house is located in a quiet neighborhood, so don't expect a lot of nightlife nearby. Wanda suggested a pizza restaurant nearby, but it was closed in August when we visited.

  • We had a wonderful 5 day visit to La Spezia and the Cinque Terra.

Wanda & Emilios house was very comfortable and so close to the train which we took each day. Emilio's recommendation for the pizzeria was spot on. They looked after us Well and we went there twice.
We thoroughly enjoyed our stay in this most beautiful part of Italy. Our favourite place was Manarola where we swam on three days, and the water was salty so we floated well!

We found the accommodation very comfortable and we sat outside in the garden for dinner.
    Highly recommended.
