Somewhat rustic, yet comfortable. Blends you right into our oak forest surroundings. Get ready to relax! Less than 5 miles from the River. We have a NO PET policy. NO SMOKING policy inside the guesthouse or near the door please.

The space
Our five acres are wooded, bring your outdoor clothes. We are a small hobby farm with raised bed vegetable gardens. our three cats and our two goats. Sorry NO PETS ALLOWED>

Gas range w oven, microwave, and coffee/ tea maker! Full fridge w freezer. We offer an exchange of clean towels once during weekly stays. We now have WIFI for our guesthouse as of Dec 2024.!

In 1993, Chuck n Donna searched for eight months to find their property. Five acres of mostly wooded serene hide-away. The bunkhouse was completed in 1995 with the raised bed organic garden to follow in 2011. Move forward to 2018 and we have found ourselves with grown children and ready to refurbish the guest house and bring back the hobby farm complete with goats and chickens. Yes, this is a work in process with plenty of chores. When we are not in harvest season we supplement the organic foods from our health food store located just one mile away in our metropolis of 1600 residents. We look forward to meeting you and hearing your story / passion. (Or we will leave you to wander and enjoy our property and friendly neighboring community.) We have a NO PET and NO Smoking policy.
