The Pineapple loft set among the tree tops welcomes with warm natural light and a serene setting. Wonderful downtown location - walk to indulge in the offerings on Main Street or take a short drive to enjoy the beach. *

The space
The loft is a new build - quaint, modern and a spacious 600 sq ft with vaulted ceilings. French doors allow for the flow of natural light and lead to an outdoor deck to relax or enjoy a morning coffee or evening cocktail. New appliances- Wolf countertop oven/toaster, induction cooktop, coffee maker, refrigerator, dishwasher, and washer & dryer. The bedroom has a large closet with french doors draped with blackout curtains that lead to the deck. Additional spaces to relax include a tub deep enough for soaking and sofa that pulls out to a queen sleeper.
Walk to downtown restaurants, galleries, and boutique shops. Take in a sunset or stroll Bayfront Park with a view of Ringling bridge - visit O'Leary's Tiki Bar & Grill or Marina Jacks for cocktails. Shop or dine on St. Armands Circle after lounging on Lido beach. Explore the variety and fresh items at the farmer's market downtown (Saturdays). Enjoy the talents of the Sarasota Ballet or the theater (Asolo, Urbanite, Florida Studio Theater, Van Wezel Performing Arts Hall). View exquisite art at Ringling museum (free Mondays) & Ca' da' zan (John & Mable Ringling's spectacular winter home- separate admission fee) or tour beautiful Selby Gardens.

Gillespie Park is home to a 10 acre park with a pond and and tennis courts. The neighborhood provides fantastic proximity to Sarasota's vibrant downtown, Bayfront Park, St. Armands Circle, Mote Marine, theaters, museums, shops, and restaurants. Lido beach is nearby and Siesta Key is only a 15 minute drive. Here enjoy the beach, grab lunch in the Village or attend the lively and entertaining Drum circle that takes place about an hour before Sunset on Sundays. Walk to Whole Foods, Starbucks, shops and award winning restaurants.

My husband and I moved to Florida from the midwest over 25 years ago, he from Michigan and I from Wisconsin. In that time we have raised a family and worked in the service industry while owning restaurants. Currently I own a Pilates studio and am a recent graduate of IIN (Institute for integrative Nutrition) and my husband is the chef/owner of Lila (Lee-la) a restaurant on Main St. We feel blessed to live in Sarasota and particularly Gillespie Park- we love being so close to downtown. We moved to Gillespie Park in 2014 and recently renovated our home creating the loft space. We're proud and excited to offer a space for people to get away, relax, and recharge.
Entertaining friends, fine wine, food and travel are things we enjoy. A healthy lifestyle and conscious living are important to us- but believe as Oscar Wilde said-"Everything in moderation, including moderation."
