Thanks for a great stay! Your flat is wonderful, clean and very comfortable. Love the neighborhood. Plenty of amenities and transportation close by. Hope we can come stay again in the future!
Staying at Lawrence's elegant Victorian was indeed a treat! Fabulous decor, beautiful home and backyard in a very happening neighborhood! Everything we could have asked for/anticipated had been attended to - towels, kitchen needs, and the most comfy bed. Sitting on the bench out back (or in the jacuzzi!) surrounded by trees, listening to the birds was magical in the sea of urbanity that was so near. Wonderful, reasonably priced restaurants within walking distance. Just walking in this neighborhood gives you the greatest examples of SF architecture. We enjoyed our stay and will definitely book with Lawrence again!
A very slick operation with information left out for you and a good position to explore the city. The apartment is big and great just to chill in – the deck is great for getting some sun if the weather is nice and the bed is very comfortable. As other reviewers say, make sure you're okay with taxidermy and hunting!
Perfect location & perfect flat! Right next to Haight & certainly better than the photos - it was such a delight! There are all the essentials such as cookware, wifi, towels, and anything else you would need for a comfortable stay. Lawrence's place is filled with interesting books, films, & music which shows insight into his profound character. Would love to stay here again!
This luxurious and outstanding apartment is one of the very finest AirBnB's that we have ever stayed in. The bed was beyond comfortable; the living spaces were stylish and unique; and the location was perfect. All this, and the fabulous caretaker, Becca! What more could you want?
A beautiful home with lots of space to hang out in. There was everything my husband and I needed. The place was clean and had a great vibe to it. The bathroom is a dream! The bed was spacious and so comfy. The area is so peaceful at night. Walking distance to Haight St where you can find shops & restaurants. Plus with a Whole Foods two streets away, it's super convenient.
Lawrence was a great host to my parents on a recent last minute trip to San Francisco. He has a beautiful, spacious apartment with a large well kept back garden. For those of you who wonder what it would be like to live in a historic part of SF, this is it! A major plus is the pinball arcade just a few doors down (random, but awesome!) One note: if you're squeamish about taxidermy, this place won't be for you. We didn't have a problem with it.
