Come have a micro adventure in our tiny home! 200 sq ft, off-grid, creekside mountain retreat on 28 acres in the Smoky Mountains. No electricity or plumbing: 'glamping' at its finest! A quiet retreat 30 minutes from Asheville, NC. At 3500 ft. in elevation, it's mild during summer days and cool at night. The dark sky’s of YanceyCounty make for amazing star viewing. Well-stocked with solar lanterns, wood for fire-making. Come unplug in this unique, comfortable space. Pets welcome for $25 fee.

The space
The road turns to gravel 0.7 miles before the cabin, and is not a problem for any car or truck. However if there is snow or ice on the road, it becomes difficult to travel on. We reserve the right to cancel dates depending on the weather.

Guest access
There is another house on the property- about 300 feet up the hill. It’s used only occasionally by us- you will not run into other guests there.

Other things to note
The bath house is a new Port-a-John, about 40 feet from the cabin. It is cleaned weekly. There is a portable camping shower you can fill with warm water and hang in the bath house for a rinse.
There is no Wifi and the Verizon signal is spotty. Calls and texts are usually not a problem. There is Blue tooth speaker with a charging port in the cabin.
The cabin is fully stocked w cooking/eating wares, all linens, wood for a fire, and ample solar lights for a dreamy night time experience.

My husband and I built this sweet little cabin 30 min North of our home in Asheville, North Carolina. We use it to unplug and reconnect with nature. The dark sky in Yancey County gives amazing star viewing, the bubbling creek is calming and sitting by the fire tranquil. We are road cyclists and enjoy the beautiful roads and minimal traffic in this part of the Blue Ridge Mountains. Feel free to contact me for ride suggestions!
