Judith was an amazing host. She greeted us warmly, gave great recommendations and her place was exactly as described. We would absolutely stay again next time we visit Paris!
We loved our stay at Judith's apartment. The apartment was in a quiet area close to the Eiffel Tower, and metro station Dupliex. There were markets only 2min walk on Sunday and Wednesday, with fresh fruit vegetables, cheese, food, clothes etc so it was easy to buy food to cook at home after a long day discovering Paris. The apartment was very clean, comfortable and had everything that we required. The lift was reliable, thank goodness because the apartment is on the 7th floor. judith was quick to respond to our enquiries and met us at the apartment to explain everything on our arrival. I would recommend her apartment to anyone that would like a lovely comfortable quiet apartment.
Both Judith and her apartment were amazing. What can I say that the other reviews haven't? She met us to go over things and left croissants, beverages, etc. She replied to any questions that we had along the way immediately. The apartment is gorgeous with an ideal location, walking distance from the Eiffel Tower and the trains which were easy to use to visit other tourist attractions. Judith and her apartment were a huge part of what made our visit magical and we would love to stay there every time that we make it to Paris.
What else can we say about Judith and her wonderful home that hasn't been said? Everything said by the other guests is right. Judith is very kind, helpful, and generous. The apt. is a home in a great neighborhood, accessible to a great bi-weekly market, the RER and Metro, a skip to the Eiffel Tower and the Seine. The building is clean, well kept, and the neighbors very nice. I was impressed by the pull out sofa, very comfortable, and the Wi-Fi(fast and dependable).
The apt. doesn't face the Eiffel Tower, but at night, on the hour, the lights twinkle and you can see the reflection across the street on the neighbors windows! The metro stop Bir-Hakeim on line 6 is 2 blocks from the apt.. in my opinion closer than the Desaix stop. There's also the RER trains that take you to the Airport and other sites without changing lines in the Metro. If you have never visit Paris, do yourself a favor and Google-Earth and "walk" the neighborhood, we learned a lot.
You will not be disappointed renting Judith's home; we missed it, along with Paris's great food, the moment we closed the door behind us. Thank you Judith for lending us your home.
We're so happy we chose to stay at Judith's lovely apartment! Our visit to Paris was perfect, and this charming "home away from home" was part of the perfection. It's bright and comfortable, with gorgeous views all around, and it's ideally located on a quiet street near metro and RER stations.
Judith is a helpful and generous host. She met us at the apartment to orient us and show us how to use some of the features. She also left fresh breads and fruits, coffee, and beverages for us. She has compliled a binder full of helpful information about Paris points of interest and transport, and she gave us some excellent tips on dining on the neighborhood.
I heartily and happily recommend that you choose Judith as your host if you're planning a visit to Paris!
What is there to say about Judith's apartment, except that was absolutely fabulous! It was exactly like it looked in the photos...cozy, sunny, and just so quaint and wonderful. Everything you need is either already there in the apartment, or conveniently located nearby. My mother and I stayed at Judith's for 15 days, and the apartment was so comfortable and homey that it quickly became our "Paris home".
Judith is absolutely wonderful. She made herself available before our stay, and was more than happy to answer any questions we might have had about the apartment, or even Paris in general. She was there to meet us when we arrived, and she spent a generous amount of time going over all the little aspects of the apartment, and the neighborhood, before she left. She even sent us a little email about mid-way through our stay to see how everything was going.
It was a pleasure staying in this beautiful home, and it made my first trip to Paris even more memorable. Thank you Judith!
