Driving north on Hwy 101 the entrance to the Avenue is highway marker 645 ( Miranda/Phillipsville).

Humboldt Redwood Co. offers a free fisheries exhibit, the largest freshwater aquarium on the north coast.

Redwood Empire Golf & Country Club and Redwood Memorial Hospital across Fernbridge to Fortuna.
