Our quintessential cozy log home, last house on a dead end road, is perfect for your Vt experience. Warm & inviting after a day of skiing, biking, or just exploring! Downtown Stowe is 1 mile away and the ski resort 7 miles away up the mountain Rd. Explore the many mtn biking, hiking, swimming holes, breweries, etc... in the area. The comfy great room is perfect for games and time with family + friends. In warmer months enjoy the view relaxing from the back porch!

The space
Our Log Home and Red Barn are situated as the last home on a dead end road. Very close to all local amenities yet in the “woods” enough to feel peaceful and isolated.
The home was a previous airbnb run by a sweet couple in their golden years. We are in the process of updating many features of the home both internally and externally. In the 4 years we’ve owned the home we’ve rebuilt the roof, restored the barn/garage, restored the logs themselves, built a stone outdoor courtyard, remodeled the kitchen and are in the process of many other property changes! Pictures will continually be updated with changes throughout the months and years.
Please note that we live in a separate apartment beneath the home and the driveway and yard space is shared.

Hiking, biking, skiing, restaurants, numerous breweries, Ben + Jerry’s....everything is just minutes from the house. You can leave on your Mtn bike from the house and within a mile be on a large trail network! Stowe's "quiet path" is less than a 1/2 mile away and an easy walk from the house for an evening walk along the corn fields and rivers which leads into town.

We try to travel frequently for pleasure and to compete in triathlons/trail running events. I've worked as a "travel nurse" for many years which has allowed me the freedom to explore the country and now we're trying to do it together! We enjoy staying in hostels and B+B locations to potentially enjoy meeting new people while exploring new places. I'm originally from Vermont and Emily is from Seattle. We don't smoke and we only drink some occasional wine. We love to hike and explore a city on foot and can remain quiet and private or we also enjoy conversation with any potential housemates should they be so inclined.
