Our quintessential cozy log home, last house on a dead end road, is perfect for your Vt experience. Warm & inviting after a day of skiing, biking, or just exploring! Downtown Stowe is 1 mile away and the ski resort 7 miles away up the mountain Rd. Explore the many mtn biking, hiking, swimming holes, breweries, etc... in the area. The comfy great room is perfect for games and time with family + friends. In warmer months enjoy the view relaxing from the back porch!

The space
Our Log Home and Red Barn are situated as the last home on a dead end road. Very close to all local amenities yet in the “woods” enough to feel peaceful and isolated.
The home was a previous airbnb run by a sweet couple in their golden years. We are often in the process of updating many features of the home both internally and externally and we look forward to sharing our home with you.

Please note, all bedrooms are upstairs and must be able to climb a flight of stairs to reach

You have access to the full house and property except one small side room for owners personal storage space.
We live beneath the home in a completely separate apartment.

We are happy to announce wifi options have finally been upgraded in the area allowing those that need to work from our home the ability to do so!
This is our first home and we are often planning our next upgrade! We hope you recognize the time and effort we are putting into our home as we truly enjoy sharing it with You. We have one important request to please be aware: If you are coming to Stowe for a party weekend with friends, this is our personal home. We ask that you treat our home as you would yours. If you're planning to relive your wild college party days then we respectfully ask you to choose another accommodation for your stay.

Neighborhood highlights

Hiking, biking, skiing, restaurants, numerous breweries, Ben + Jerry’s....everything is just minutes from the house. You can leave on your Mtn bike from the house and within a mile be on a large trail network! Stowe's "quiet path" is less than a 1/2 mile away and an easy walk from the house for an evening walk along the corn fields and rivers which leads into town.

We try to travel frequently for pleasure and to compete in triathlons/trail running events. I've worked as a "travel nurse" for many years which has allowed me the freedom to explore the country and now we're trying to do it together! We enjoy staying in hostels and B+B locations to potentially enjoy meeting new people while exploring new places. I'm originally from Vermont and Emily is from Seattle. We don't smoke and we only drink some occasional wine. We love to hike and explore a city on foot and can remain quiet and private or we also enjoy conversation with any potential housemates should they be so inclined. We work in healthcare and enjoy music and the arts and spend much of our free time outside. We look forward to hearing from you.
